We are going in November when Spectro and fireworks are only done one time during our stay. They didn't run these at all the last time we were there in 2001 and really want to see them this time. Is there a "special" place that anyone can recommend that has a great view but isn't too terribly crushed?? Any and all help GREATLY appreciated!

Expect it to be crowded if it's the only showing that week. We saw the 8:00 Spectro last Saturday and people were already starting to line up on Main Street around 6:15. We found a spot back in Liberty Square around 7:15, back by the gallows not front view. I've heard for the new Wishes fireworks you want to be in front of the castle.

If you are in front of the castle (is that 'the hub'? )...will that be a good viewing spot for Spectromagic as well?

Near the end of Main Street and the Tomorrowland bridge is a good place to see both.

We got a spot in front of Casey's Hot Dog Restaurant on 9/27 at 6:10. Within a few minutes, most of the places around us filled up. I sat and reserved our spot while DH and 2 DS went and got our dinner. We sat and ate and then they went and rode TTA before the parade. We put our raincoats out to save our spots. People will move and push your things over to try to make room for themselves, so watch out for this. They will also sit behind you and then push their kids up in front when there is no extra room. We were able to see Tinkerbell fly also when the fireworks started. You have to stand to see these. People will push you and some will even step on your feet. One person in an electric cart ran over my foot and did not say a word to me to apologize. Have fun but be ready for a large crowd.

My favorite spot is right (or close to) in front of the castle. I get a great view of Spectro and what is better than sitting and watching the castle change colors, listening to the music and seeing the fireworks come up behind the castle (or in front of or around). I just love that spot. I always find a spot on the curb, that way no one can sit in front of me. I have gotten the greatest pictures there.

Now that the firework show is Wishes...do we need to 'rethink' our spot? :upsidedow

Seems like I'm reading from the boards that we need to be back from the hub now...to experience the whole thing. Perhaps on Main Street proper? Where does the parade route go?
