We will be arriving mid afternoon on May 11th and would like to take a trip to DTD. What would be the best place to eat for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids who are 5 and 2?

My kids always liked rainforest, if you have boys they might like t-rex. If we ate at DTD because it was something my kids made a bit of a tradition we never got to eat anywhere else. The cuban place near the market place was good, and we did like the irish rest. also.

Wolfgang Puck Express. It is the only restaurant that we go to at least once each trip. We will even drive out of our way on the way out of town to get some take out. And everyone we have taken there likes it. It's easily the best CS in all of WDW. It's better than some TS restaurants, IMHO!

(plus, they take DDP *and* give AP discounts!)

another plus for a family w/small children: although it's a counter service restaurant, they bring the food to your table and will even bring your frozen yogurt to you later on so it doesn't melt.

Wolfgang Express is a great choice, as is Earl of Sandwich. We just tried Earl out a few weeks ago for the first time and found it to be an excellent value.

If you are looking for a TS, we have always had a great time at Wolfgang Puck Cafe (in the West Side). I know others haven't, but we have always had excellent food and very friendly and helpful waitstaff. They have always been very accommodating to our DD, who has been a few times already (she just turned 3).

Or, you could just skip the meal and go straight to dessert at Ghiaradelli! :)

I agree with the PP. Wolfgang Express is great.

We like both Wolfgang Puck and Express and the Earl of Sandwich. Each has great food and great prices.:thumbsup2

If you are on the dining plan, for TS you are limited to Raglan Road, Wolfgang Puck Cafe (not the Upstairs), Planet Hollywood or Cap'n Jack's. My favorite of those is Raglan Road.

Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich accept CS credits on the dining plan.

Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex are not included.

Raglan Road is our favorite as well.

My choice for table service would be Raglan Road.
My choice for counter service would be Earl of Sandwich. Don't be intimidated
by any "long lines". They move quickly.

With kids of 2 and 5, you'll probably have better luck at McDonalds!!!
