In DL:
Blue Bayou
French Market
Rancho del Zocalo
Red Rocketts Pizza Port
Carnation Cafe
Plaza Inn
Just to name a few. . .

Heres my favs
Cafe Orleans ,great food , sit outside and watch the pirates go by! full service.
Hungry bear for burgers, looks out onto water, counter service
Plaza Inn , great pasta and fried chicken, cafeteria style.
Pizza Port ,pizza, salads and pasta also cafeteria style.

DL=Blue Bayou

DTD=Rainforest Cafe

I eat at both of those restaurants every time I go to DL. :goodvibes

Jazz Kitchen, we just ate there last night, got the popcorn shrimp for appetizer, blackened salmon for the entree and the chocolate bread pudding that was to die for , other then the breakfast at storytellers that had to be my best meal although BB, Catel and Napolies was good BB and JK stick out in my head

We love the Hungry Bear too. The food's not fancy, but we really enjoy the sandwiches and DD loves the corn dog bites. The best part is to walk way down the side and get a table right on the river. We love watching the canoes and riverboat go by. It's so peaceful.

We also enjoy the Riverbelle Terrace for breakfast, although I think it's being rehabbed right now.

Bengal BBQ hands down, and Cafe Orleans for sit down. :)

In my opinion though, DCA wins with food everytime. :goodvibes:

Blue Bayou for something nice and relaxing. We go for a late lunch - that way the prices are a bit cheaper than dinner for just about the same thing.

The French Market has great food and entertainment of some sort. Both the BB & the FM have fantastic jambalaya. It's what I get every time.

For counter service, the Hungry Bear. I love to go downstairs and sit by the water to watch the boats and canoes go by. It's very cool and shady, too.

Rancho Zocallo has large portions and good food. We will get it "to go" and eat while we're waiting for the fireworks.

For snack, there is dole whips, but then there's the fritters and mint juleps that you can purchase at the Mint Julep bar behind the French Market. My favorite snack!

We haven't eaten at DTD (we usually go to IHOP or Denny's), but I have eaten at the Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian. It was nice.

Hope this helps!
