Best place to dine with Pluto..?

O'hana for breakfast! loved the food...it's served family style, and seemed fresher to me than most buffets. The bread they serve in the mornings and the Lilikoi juice are wonderful. The character experience is unique, since it has lilo and stitch, and Mickey in his hawaiian getup. Also if I'm remembering correctly, Pluto Wore a lei. Loved that stitch had a PP photographer with him! That's rare at character meals. The other characters didn't have one, but the interactions were still great and the maraca parade through the restaurant made my 2-year-old's life! We live O'hana for both breakfast and dinner but the breakfast experience was one of my favorites

a few years ago we made a mistake and accidentally didnt schedule a dinner reservation on one night! NOTHING had anything open except for garden grill and it was towards the later times.

the perk of this was it was maybe us and 4 other families so we had complete attention of the wait staff and the characters came to our table probably about 4 times through the meal and each time they did something different and funny.

It was one of the best character experiences we have ever had and what was a last minute switch ended up being the highlight of the trip.

Pluto and chip and dale were the most playful, getting us out of the booths and playing around with us because there was really no one else there later haha

I am one of the few here that actually likes dinner at Chef Mickey's, lol. Guess we've been lucky, we've had only good experiences there.

We have always had a good experience at Chef Mickey's and will go again in August. However we won't go back to Garden Grill. The food at Garden Grill was terrible. Bland, poorly prepared and just disappointing. I have had better at my ex-mother in law's "house of boiled everything", lol

Ohana!! Did garden grill and Ohana last trip and you can't top Ohana!! Mickey, Lilo stitch and my personal favorite PLUTO!

We've had breakfast at Chef Mickey's twice and love it there. My kids think Chef Mickey's is now a requisite meal for Disney trips. I've heard good things about the 'Ohana character breakfast and Garden Grill character dinner, but both are family style meals and DH says he wants more of a variety of food if we're paying buffet prices :upsidedow. I'm interested in learning more about the Garden Grove buffet over at the Swan as we are looking to explore that resort area a little more on our next trip.
