Best place to buy Hunger Games?

I know there's usually deals or special extras for DVD's. Any ideas where the best ones are? Or the cheapest? Thanks!

Fred Meyer is having a midnight release party where Hunger Games is $4.99 on DVD or $9.99 on Blu-ray if you purchase some sort of razor and batteries...weird combo, but if you need those items or have coupons for them, it might be a great deal.

I preordered mine on Amazon. It's $16.99 for 2 DVD and Digital copy. Its supposed to arrive Monday, but we get free online digital to watch starting at midnight on Friday (18th) if we want to watch before it gets here.

I pre-ordered the 3 disc Blu-Ray from Amazon and so far the price has dropped to $19.99. I didn't want to have to go to the store on Saturday, I prefer for it to be brought directly to my door.

This is the same thing we did (best deal I could find on the Blu-ray, and I've been watching around for a while). I was hoping to order from Barnes and Noble with a coupon, but when I finally DID get a coupon, they raised the price of the movie! :rolleyes2

Plus, *technically* it was free since I used Swagbucks gift cards that I earned the past few weeks (2 came just in time to order on Monday). Historically, Amazon ships so that it's delivered the same day it "comes out", but that would be a Saturday so I don't know. Right now my Amazon page says Monday - but I'm still hoping it shows up on Saturday!

I normally look around, but I just rather had it sent to the house and I have the option to watch it on th erelease day on my iPad from Amazon. This is the first pre-order I have done with them, so I am curious to see when I get it.

I'm pretty sure it will be Monday since Amazon uses UPS and they don't deliver on Saturday. I'll be watching it on their fee online since I preordered from them.

What's missing is a combo with both BluRay and DVD. That's what I need.

I haven't seen anybody offer a Blu-ray, DVD, Digital, all the ones I have seen were either 2 Blu-ray and digital or 2 DVD and digital.

I just looked, the Best Buy one is just BluRay. I don't think I've seen a movie come out in a long time without having an option for both. For this type of movie, I'd definately have paid $30 for a BluRay/DVD/Digital Copy version.

Best Buy's 29.99 "deluxe" edition is blu-ray, DVD & digital. You have to click on the "exclusive collector's edition details" link to bring up the accurate description and packaging, though. On the main product page is just a generic case-cover image.

Good news for people who preordered from amazon. I just got my shipping email and it is coming via USPS not ups, so there is at least a small chance that it will be here Saturday. The expected delivery is still Monday, but I've gotten stuff early before.

Has anyone else read the negative reviews about the format of the digital copy that is being included in these packages? I have only heard negatives re: "violet". I'd love to hear if anyone here has any experience with the digital format that I've read is not compatible with itunes.

I gave up on the ultraviolet copy of whatever I got it with. Maybe the last Harry potter? I preordered from amazon in mid-July and mine still hasn't shipped, so I'm surprised others have had theirs on the way already. Amazon does typically use ups, but we actually had dhl deliver something from them this week (prime-not an outside seller to my knowledge). Guess they use the cheapest for the job?
