This is my first post on this board and I know you are all knowledgeable and have the best advice. Would you all be able to inform me of the best and cheapest way to purchase advance park hopper tickets?? We are going in March 2004 and I am also concerned if I purchase them now are they going to be honored in March?? Do they have a time frame that they have to be used by?? I hope you guys can help me with my dilemmas. Any and all advice would be most appreciated. THanks in advance for all you intelligent and helpful hints and tips. We all need to save as much money as possible to take the family to Disney!!!!

I think Disney's website will have the best price on the park hoppers. The Park Hopper Plus does not expire - if you bought a 4 day pass and only used 3 you could save that 1 day until your next trip. Have fun!

The best price we've found for PHP passes is on ticketmania.com. All of the other sites I looked at had similar pricing, but then said "+ tax and shipping." The ticket mania site had the same prices, but INCLUDING shipping and tax. hth!

You can join Hotwire savingsclub for the trial membership and they have excellent prices which include shipping and taxes. Paramount International travel also has good prices but they charge $15 shipping per order ( not per ticket) so unless you are ordering the 6 or 7 day PHP that include breakfast vouchers you may do better elsewhere. If you sign up for Maring Warings newsletter on Mousesavers.com she usually has some special deals with ticketmania for subscribers only. It comes out on e-mail the 15th of the month. Good luck in your quest.

I've been checking out prices for 5 day Hopper/Hopper Plus. The best I've found is $221.00 incl tax for 5 Day PH from AAA or $237.00 (and some change) for a 5 day PHP from Connections. You do need to have memberships for both of those. The PHP is a good deal but I don't really need the pluses. Might sell them on Ebay...
Hope this helps and I'd be glad to hear about other people's finds!
:sunny:

I joined HSC the other day and ended up saving $82 and then getting a $10 rebate on top of it for our 6 day PHP! $92 is $92!!! Lots of Mickey Bars!

(I think I am also going to purchase some Q&C vouchers also!)

It is the Hotwire Savings Club

www.hotwiresavingsclub.com

You can join for free for 30 days and then it is $7.95 per month after if you don't cancel.. There are some good deals, and I think I may keep it!

if you don't mind me asking...what are the actual prices for the tickets??? Is it that much of a savings???

With the $10 rebate I paid 521.02 for 2 adult 6 day PHP tickets(that includes shipping)... Disney quoted me $592...

HSC ticket prices
Adult Child
4day + 1 plus 197.47 158.17
5day + 2 236.96 188.84
6day + 3 265.51 212.80
7day + 4 294.67 236.76

The prices includes shipping and taxes.
Depending on how many you need to order and what you want you can sometimes do better at someplace like paramount international travel even though you pay shipping of 15 per order. We ordered 4 7 day passes from them and got 4 adult breakfast vouchers that were worth at least $71 if we had bought them someplace in advance. We were doing a character breakfast anyway so it saved us some money $40-$50.

What are the + numbers after the hopper days?

They are the number of "Pluses" that you get with that hopper. If you don't know, Pluses are single admissions into Pleasure Island, the water parks, and Disney's Wide World of Sports. These, like the hopper days, never expire.

Hope that this helps. :)

How long does it take to receive the PHs after you pay for them?

I'm a little concerned that we wouldn't get them in time.

A 5day plus two gives you 5 park days and the possibility of two water park days or a water park and one of the other places or any combination. Each one counts as a day so if you use a park day and a plus feature on the same day you have used 2 of your total of seven items. We don't do pelasure island just the water parks and with the price of those up in the $34 range these plus features make the PHP a good buy. I lokk at it that the $301 we paid for a 7 day + 4 pass is really 11 days which makes each day about $27.50. We also don't do a water park and a theme park on the same day. The longest I have waited for passes was 10 days and I think that was because of a weekend and holiday right after I ordered them on a Friday.

I can't find the PHs on Hotwire :(

All I see is flights, hotels, cars, etc.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

The Hotwire referred to is Hotwire Savings Club and they have their own website. You can also find out about it by going to Hotwire.com then to customer care and then on the bottom of the page is a place to click for the Hotwire Savings Club - Good luck.
