Best option for getting to the airport

My parents will be joining us for part of our trip in March (we'll be staying at Shades of Green). We're driving down and they're flying down. We'll be picking them up from the airport when they arrive, but we plan on heading to MK early on the morning they need to leave. What is the best option for them to get to the airport? At this point we're leaning towards a taxi. I was checking out Mears, but it seems like it'd be more money. Anyone have any ideas?

If you're all staying onsite, and your parents are included on the reservation, they can use Magical Express. You or they do have to reserve it in advance, but it can be used one way. Mears doesn't service Disney resorts, now that Magical Express exists.

If you're staying offsite, or at the Dolphin/Swan or Shades of Green or on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, yes, you can reserve Mears for them. Last I knew it was $17 one way per person, most likely it's gone up. But a taxi, while more expensive, is also more direct. It'll take only your parents, and directly to the airport, instead of picking up passengers at various hotels. Or you could book a town car or limo.
