Best online source for driving directions that would show current road closures (local roads not highway)

Hi. Like the title says I am looking for an online source to give current road conditions - mainly directions that include current road closures (local roads not the highway). We had a wicked storm last night and when we looked at google maps we were surprised my sons route to work was clear. Well after he travelled this morning for close to an hour he is still trying to find a way to get to work. Road closures everywhere. So mapquest isn't giving any current info and also google maps. Anyone have a good source for something like this? Thx

Waze is usually the most up to date and even tells you when cops are stationed on the highway.
