Each of these is in-play for Priceline Vacation bidding. Which would you place at the top?

Ive only stayed at the Wyndham Palace. Two thumbs WAY DOWN. We;d stay at Disney's all-stars before we'd stay there again.

I have stayed at all three. Keep in mind that unless you are doing a vacation package you don't get to pick which of these you will get on Priceline.

The Hyatt is the nicest but is not a DTD hotel so no free transport to the parks. I think you need a car there.

The Wyndam has a good pool and I have stayed there several times on Priceline deals. I have never had a bad experience, find it SEVERAL grades above the All Stars and would recommend it.

The Hilton is also very nice. Pool and grounds are not as nice, but the rooms have been recently redone. I would stay there also.

My feeling is you are more likely to get the Hilton or Wyndam on Priceline.

We plan to the do the Priceline Vacation Package, so we will get to choose the hotel. Each of these have been avaiable recently for our trip. The Wyndham seems to have a great location for us since we like to stroll Downtown Disney after we go to the parks - and it is easy to use transportation from there.

It just seems that whenever people take time to write reviews (epinons, etc.), they are either gushing or appalled at some experience. Not too many really "balanced" opinions.

We (DW, DD6, and myself) won't spend a great deal of time in our room or around the resort, but we are looking for a dependably clean, comfortable, and serviced hotel in a great location.

I am writing this from a room at the Wyndham right now.

My room is lovely - beautifully decorated. I have a little balcony with two chairs. There's a mini-bar but I have not used it.

The downside:
The carpet in the hallway is filthy. I have never seen so many stains - not one or two - maybe 50 (I'm not exaggerating) on the way to the elevator. They must be getting ready to replace it and have stopped cleaning it. Looks like they had a paint ball fight (black paint).

You can self park fairly close to an entrance but that is to the convention center part and you have to walk quite a ways to the elevators to the room.

The staff has been helpful - no problems there. Arthur's up on top has a nice dinner - I got a coupon for a fixed price meal in my check in but I only went up for a drink. Very nice view but a drink was $11!! The spa area is fairly small but I had a great massage there.

I have not stayed at the Hyatt in a couple of years, but I loved it. It is so beautiful and the grounds are really something else. That is my favorite deluxe hotel including Disney hotels.

Both hotels can have a lot of convention people if that bothers you.

Hi,

I have not stayed at any of these places. But I wanted to stay I thought the Grand Cypress was rated #l hotel in Orlando in some travel magazine I was reading.

Any know for sure?

I know the Wyndam is in the process of redoing the halls and common areas on the individual floors. (On my last visit they were working on the floor below me.) The new carpets look nice, they redid the walls and doors so they are lighter in tone then the current style.

Actually while the Hyatt is the nicest of the hotels I actually perfer the Wyndam and then the Hilton. To me the location is worth giving something up in the "fancy" area. The Hyatt is a tougher commute to Disney especially due to road contstruction near their entrance. Plus I feel more like I am leaving the magic to leave and go there.

My feeling is that neither the Wyndam or Hilton are "top of the line" hotels (Like a Ritz), but for the priceline rates you are getting a great deal. Nice rooms (I like the balcony at the Wyndam. On July 4th I watched the Pleasure Island fireworks from mine). My decision has been to risk Priceline if I can get the room for less than the All Stars (or close) and so far I have done pretty well. The Marriott World Center is nice also, but it is a commute. (I actually think it is an easier commute then the Hyatt, but that may be personal and not factual!)
