I've searched and read many threads regarding MSEP and FP+ and have a couple of questions. We will have DS-8, DD-6 and DD4.5 and are going the 1st week of May - there are so many things to FP, I don't want to waste one if we don't have to BUT also want to ensure we enjoy MSEP. Oh and we have to be able to see Tink fly, if she does that night. I've come up with two options...
1-FP+ MSEP and try to get to the recommended Wishes spot after the parade is over: Will we be able to get through the crowds to get a good spot to see Wishes and FW's? We were planning on bringing a double stroller which I've read complicates things but if we do this on a park hop day or after an afternoon break, we can leave the stroller behind. I've read that we would need to get to the FP+ spot before the FP time, about 45 mins before the show (this takes away some of the value of FP even though it does cut down the wait / idle time.
2-Find a good spot along the parade route that will also be close to a good spot to see Wishes / FW. Is it possible to get a spot like this that won't be a 90 minute wait beforehand? For example, according the the parade route map, you can view the parade by the railroad and then possibly walk up towards the hub? Or do they keep all the ropes up until the parade has completed? Again, we'll need to see Tink fly so I'm sure this limits our viewing options!
Finally, if we stake out a spot early on, say on the curb can DH run and get us some food so we can have something to do while we wait?? Thanks!
