To be fair though.....It is the only mod i have stayed at....

Another vote for POR.... I can only comment on the places i stayed at and what i liked and disliked...
POR- great all around from the cm's to the grounds to the transportation and everything in between. We loved it. We found it so pleasant and clean...would go back there in a heartbeat...
CSR- We liked the grounds but thats about it... what i didnt like- the food court... asking for eggs over easy was a project in its self.. the walk from our room to the pool was crazy, they say they provide transportation around the grounds... I saw the golf cart once and thats when we were checking in. the convention center is also located at this hotel; which isnt a problem except for when the people got loud and drunk... sometimes people forget that children are around and dont know how to mind thier manners. I can go on and on but I will leave it at that... Good Luck with your choice but I reccomend POR/ POFQ/ or CBR.

I have always loved Dixie Landings/POR. I still think it is the best themed resort of the moderates. It has a great food court, quiet rooms, lots of pool options, beautiful grounds and that fabulous boat-ride to DTD.

We like " Dixie Landings " Resort !!! Remember that name........and thats what we STILL call it.........lots of Memories there .....like the Birth of our one Daughter ........ A real special place in our Hearts there !!

I've stayed at POFQ about 10 years ago and really enjoyed it. The pool was cool and the surroundings was a lot smaller than other mods. This June we are going to POR and I am really excited about that. I have only been to POR just to walk around the surroundings and to eat at Boatwrights. I thought it looked gorgeous and I also loved the fact that you can choose to either swim at POFQ or POR if you wanted to. It will give my kids the chance to pick and choose which pool they want to swim at, not just be subjected to one. Also, being able to take a ferry to DTD and taking a nightly carriage ride around the resort appealed to me as well.
