We're here now and going to take advantage of the bounce back offer. We were contemplating staying deluxe for an adult Christmas trip next year but then thought staying moderate would be good and give us a little more moolah for splurging 😁 What's the best moderate at Christmas for two adults?

For me, it would depend on what your goals are - is it a lot of park touring? resort time? For an adult trip, I like CSR. Many people recommend the Tower, but I found it to be a bit loud. I really enjoy the outer buildings, the pool, the number of restaurants the resort offers. I think it's the "deluxe" of the mods. If you prefer to be closer to the parks, perhaps CBR. If you would like a place that has easy access to DS, POR. If you really want to focus on a great mod resort, CSR would be my choice.

Thanks! We want to be able to swim (weather permitting)/relax at the resort, and have easy access to the parks...all while taking in as much of the holiday offerings as we can. Part of me says also have good food at the resort, but by the time we get back we're usually to tired to eat lol

I agree with this. I have my third trip to CSR coming up and it is a great resorts for adults. Last month we went with our adult kids and DS GF. There are so many dining and lounge options. We love the pool area too. We also stay in the outer buildings and enjoy them. I haven't been tempted to spend the extra on a tower room since you can access the tower without staying in the tower. I find the ride time to the parks to be pretty short since CSR is centrally located and the buses run constantly. We have really never waited long for a bus.

We stayed at POFQ at Christmas time and really enjoyed it. We didn't swim in the pool but did enjoy the hot tub. I thought the food was decent and if you wanted something else could always grab the boat to Disney Springs or one of the other resorts right there.

We also really enjoyed how small and quiet it was.

Truthfully, we would not have any issue staying at any of the Mod resorts, they are all done well.
CBR is great for an adult trip, not only do you have the skyliner to 2 parks you can also pop over to the Riviera for a drink or a wonderful dinner at Topoloino's. We really like the PO resorts as they are extremely well themed and you can walk over to the other one if you want too, plus a romantic carriage ride at night. Look at some youtube Christmas resort tours and see if one pops out at you.

Thanks everyone! It gives us more to think about than we originally thought, and we didn't even think of CSR. We'll watch some videos and look through some pics...if I'm reading the bounceback correctly, we can change our resort so I'll book something now and then change later if necessary

CSR is my go to moderate. I've stayed at all of them except POFQ and it's by far my favorite. I love the theming, I love the rooms, I love the food options. Like other's I have no need to stay in the tower, always stay in one of the villages. I can get a room at Swan/Dolphin for what you pay at the tower (normally) so if I want to spend that, I'll stay at one of those. I have an upcoming stay at CSR 11/30 thru 12/4. The big tree they put in the lobby is beautiful. I have never had any problems with the buses and usually I stay at the first bus stop so have to ride the entire way around the resort when going to the parks and I've never found that an issue. It's very close to HS and Epcot, actually walking distance if that were possible (it's not). It's considered an AK resort so close to that as well. All the moderates are not close to MK so that isn't in the equation.

POFQ is my favourite moderate hotel, especially at Christmas.
It’s nice and small and feels so calm and quiet after a busy day in the parks.
Plus I love the jazzy Christmas music they play around the resort. :)
