I was wondering if anyone had any idea for the best waterproof mascara for in the parks and safe with contacts?

It isn't waterproof but I swear by Estee Lauder's Double Wear. The only thing that takes it off is water above 80 degrees. It survives humidity, Splash Mountain, smudges. I have had trouble with mascara giving me raccoon eyes for years until I started using this. Of course, it WILL come off in the heated resort pools, but I just don't wear it then. For the parks, it's great! :thumbsup2

Mary Kay waterproof mascara. It's triathlon tested. It costs $10 and will not come off, even in the pool.

I just purchased make up from Mally on QVC. It was the special value of the day last weekend. Anyhoo, it inluded 24/7 waterproof mascara. Today is the first time I am using it. All her make up is garanteed to to stay on 24/7. I have to say, usually my make up disappears by now in my office and my eyes are all runny. I stayed put today. The Mascara I am loving, I even rubbed my fingers really hard on them just now to see if any residue comes off and nope! You might want to check Mally products out.

This is the kit where the mascara was included: I think it was a world wide launch of this mascara and is only available on QVC unitl Sept.

I've worn soft contacts for more years than I want to count - and now have them with bifocals! I've used Maybelline Great Lash for most of those years and have loved it. Within the past 6 months I've tried another one that I like and I dont have the tube handy now, but I believe it is Cover Girl. It is in a green tube and is called something like Define Lash. I've been real pleased with it. Seems to work well in steamy weather and when I've worn it swimming. I've tried most of the more expensive brands, but these are the two that have given me the best results.

I picked up a brand from Sepheora called Blinc. I heard about it on here and I also wear contacts. I love it, it forms a tube around your lashes and it only comes off with pressure and warm water. Google it. I do have to use an eyelash curler prior to application. I plan on using it on our trip in Sept. Good luck!!!

I have used a curler before but not to often. I'm looking for something that will hold up to a long day in the parks, water rides and even maybe the resort pool. You say this comes off with warm water and pressure but if I go swimming or on a water ride and wipe the water from my eyes will it smear? I like to wear minimium makeup but I love my mascara.

Loreal, makes one with Tubes on the lashes too.. Its in a red and white package called Loreal Lash Double Extend, and I bought my at the Drugstore for 10.00. It is wonderful and I believe that it would stand up to the wet rides and pool well. I find that it only comes off with me gently pulling the tubes off my lashes while in the shower.... I slept with the mascara on and woke up with no racoon eyes!! To me that says alot.

If you want to try the tube mascara I suggest the Loreal brand it cost about 15.00 less than Blinc. Good Luck I hope you find something that works for you.

I saw this on QVC last weekend, too. I almost ordered it, but was unsure if it was really as good as she made it sound...so you are pleased with it?

I like Avon's Washable Waterproof Mascara. I buy a $ .99 mini tube and toss it when vacation's over. It seems to work a lot like the 'tubing' mascaras. It comes off with warm water and pressure.

I love the Blinc. I have not tried the one by Loreal, other mascara's of theirs along with Almay have really bugged my eyes in the past. The curler is a definite must before the Blinc. Other mascara's I have not had to do this with but as Mickey Dust said "no Raccoon eyes" Its wonderful!!!
I am the same way with makeup. For everyday makeup only use Bare minerals powder the sun block one that just came out that's contained with the brush(I am going to start a threads to see if anyone has had luck with this in the parks) and mascara. The one thing I can not leave the house with is Mascara!!!! I have the wimpiest lashes!!! BTW has anyone seen the add with Brooke Sheilds and the new Prescription lash growing stuff you can get? I am very curious....I guess you would ask the dermatologist? I wonder how much it costs?

My bad - the Define Lash mascara is made by Maybelline as well.

This is my second day. I do like it, and let me tell you it stays on! In fact I had a hard time getting it off with just soap last night. I think I need to get a make up cleanser. I think I would like to try some other colors for the eyes eventually because the colors that came in the kit is not what I usually use but I like that its different and I can change my look up. The kit is definilty universal colors for everyone.

I get my eyelashes tinted before my trip and don't need mascara. It's not quite as effective as wearing mascara but it works for me because we go in Aug when it's really hot so I like to be as low maintenance as possible.

Cover Girl Professional Waterproof.....it's in a blue package and make sure you get the waterproof one because the regular one is in the same package. It works for rain, water rides, humidity, and has made it through crying at funerals and weddings without running. It comes off so easily in the shower or just washing your face....love it, use it daily and it's around $5.

I love Cover Girl Marathon mascara (in the green tube). Have used it for 10+ years. I do wear contacts, too. It's reasonably priced (about $7/tube regular price, but often on sale) and doesn't smudge at all.

Too Faced Lash Injection. I use nothing else. :thumbsup2

Seconding Double Wear! This stuff stays on - even with extreme sweating. I've used it performing under hot stage lights many times and it has never come off. I haven't tried swimming in it, so I can't speak to that. But it withstands sweat VERY well.

I use the Sephora brand Waterproof Mascara, in black. AWESOME! It's $14, and doesn't come off in heat/humidity, but fairly easily with my cvs brand make up remover haha.
I have also bought the Dior Waterproof in Noir, but it's PRICY-- $24. However, it makes the lashes long and thick and dark. A great "fancy" mascara.
