I was wondering if anyone had any idea for the best waterproof mascara for in the parks and safe with contacts?
I picked up a brand from Sepheora called Blinc. I heard about it on here and I also wear contacts. I love it, it forms a tube around your lashes and it only comes off with pressure and warm water. Google it. I do have to use an eyelash curler prior to application. I plan on using it on our trip in Sept. Good luck!!!
I have used a curler before but not to often. I'm looking for something that will hold up to a long day in the parks, water rides and even maybe the resort pool. You say this comes off with warm water and pressure but if I go swimming or on a water ride and wipe the water from my eyes will it smear? I like to wear minimium makeup but I love my mascara.
I just purchased make up from Mally on QVC. It was the special value of the day last weekend. Anyhoo, it inluded 24/7 waterproof mascara. Today is the first time I am using it. All her make up is garanteed to to stay on 24/7. I have to say, usually my make up disappears by now in my office and my eyes are all runny. I stayed put today. The Mascara I am loving, I even rubbed my fingers really hard on them just now to see if any residue comes off and nope! You might want to check Mally products out.
This is the kit where the mascara was included: I think it was a world wide launch of this mascara and is only available on QVC unitl Sept.

I've worn soft contacts for more years than I want to count - and now have them with bifocals!I've used Maybelline Great Lash for most of those years and have loved it. Within the past 6 months I've tried another one that I like and I dont have the tube handy now, but I believe it is Cover Girl. It is in a green tube and is called something like Define Lash. I've been real pleased with it. Seems to work well in steamy weather and when I've worn it swimming. I've tried most of the more expensive brands, but these are the two that have given me the best results.
I saw this on QVC last weekend, too. I almost ordered it, but was unsure if it was really as good as she made it sound...so you are pleased with it?
It isn't waterproof but I swear by Estee Lauder's Double Wear. The only thing that takes it off is water above 80 degrees. It survives humidity, Splash Mountain, smudges. I have had trouble with mascara giving me raccoon eyes for years until I started using this. Of course, it WILL come off in the heated resort pools, but I just don't wear it then. For the parks, it's great!![]()
