best lunch and dinner??

hi all
which are the best places to eat in and around wdw,we didn't do any character dining last time so any suggestions,on or off site character on not
what were your favourites and which were your least favourites oh and which are child friendly we have 2 boys 7 and 11

Just about all restaurants at WDW are kid friendly except for Victoria and Albert.

My family's favorites character meals are Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace for dinner and Donald's Breakfastasourus for breakfast.
For non-character meals they are in no particular order Prime Time 50s and the kids say Sci-Fi in the Studios, Plaza Restaurant and Main Street Bakery and Ice Cream in MK, Le Cellier in EPCOT and Kona Cafe, Cape May Clambake and Beaches and Cream in the resorts.
Truly the only bad meal we have had in the last three trips over two years was at Mama Melrose but other people love it so I always advise people to try things themselves.

was thinking of doing donalds breakfast did you have lots of fun???how is the character interaction???what time was your seating??i know so many ????but this was on top of my list for the morning after we arrive(jet-lag will be up v early)also how was the food

As far as character meals go, I'd vote for Chef Mickey's and the Crystal Palace. Best meal I've had in WDW was at Fulton's Crab House at DTD!

We had great meals last week at WDW. Favorites were the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe (in the Beach Club), Flying Fish (not too kid friendly), Beaches & Cream. We always eat in Japan in Epcot - great teppanyaki!

Spoodles is always a hit, and we did Rainforest Cafe for lunch (at AK) and Portebello Yacht Club (great meal here!!).
