Can anyone make a reccomendation as to room location as I have never stayed there.

Please define "best".

We like a unit that is away from the main area so its quieter. We usually request something in the Turtle Pond area. We've found building 35 is convenient to the bus stop and the quiet pool. We also request units on the top floor just so there is nobody overhead.

But again, you need to think about what is important to you.

Buildings 11 - 14 and 23 - 26 are considered Hospitality House area; this is a booking category that can be arranged when making reservation with MS ( subject to availability of course ). These buildings do not require any additional points so just refer to what you see on OKW points chart based on season you are travelling and size villa and dates you want.

Many prefer the above mentioned category for the convenience to HH area - this is where the main pool is located, Olivia's, health club, community hall, etc. We have stayed in this area and other "further out areas" at OKW and honestly do not prefer a particular location over others. If you go to the bus stop nearest your villa you can be at HH area in minutes and most locations are under a ten minute walk to HH.

If you would prefer to be near quiet pool locations there are 3 ( will say we do like South Point quiet pool best followed by Turtle Pond's and then Miller's)

If you are interested in grilling then a location near one of the quiet pools where bbq's are located, if you'd like to walk to DTD then South Point area, more of a "full service" quiet pool - Turtle Pond which has a small arcade and quick serve counter ( hours, etc. vary according to time of year ).

If you plan to book a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom villa and want the master bathroom to be accessible to guests without their having to walk through your master bedroom ( if you have guests staying in living room ) then you would definitely need to book a building numbered 30 or higher - these buildings have an additional door to access the master bathroom through the laundry room.
