Best learning book for beginners?

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on good books for beginners on digital cameras, something to teach everything from start to finish on taking pictures/settings on the camera etc..??
Anyone? I know taking a class is probably the best, but I am not seeing any classes around here at this time.

I have just bought the Digital photography for Dummies i too have just got a DSLR and was mystified but it takes you through every thing.

I had picked up one at my local Barnes & Noble by Magic Lantern designed specifically for my camera. It gave some good pointers and tips for my camera as well as put a lot of the 'owners manual' stuff in to easier to understand terms.

If there is a store that specializes in camera sales in area stop there. From my experience they can be very helpful and provide some great resources.
