Does anyone know what the best guide book is for Disneyland and surrounding areas?

I am most interested in Disneyland (obviously), Knotts Berry Farm, Universal, Magic Mountain. Is there a catch all book or should I plan on buying/borrowing multiple books?

Thanks!

I like Birnbaums the best. It is mostly about Disneyland (has everything you need to know about DL rides, restaurants and hotels) but they have information on other attractions in L.A. and San Diego. You can find it at any book store and its around $15.

The unofficial guide to Disneyland was brilliant - some here don't like because it can be quite negative and flippant about certain aspects of Disneyland - but it contains a wealth of detail on when to go, what time to try certain rides, how fast passes work and when to get them, how good they are for people of different ages, where the food is, how to find lockers etc - extremely detailed.

It covers both Disneyland and DCA and also contains a detailed and similar rundown of Universal studios, which was a bonus. We found it invaluable for planning our trip.

It didn't mention Knotts or Magic Mountain though.

I have the unofficial guide to Disneyland and am finding the information in this book just great. A friend of mine went to disney with her kids two years ago and found the book invaluable. I picked up a newer copy recently and can see why she likes it.

It covers California Adventure and a bit on Universal studios as well.
