Best grocery stop for low carber?

Hi~

Will be going to the World soon and will have a rental car. Wondering if anyone out there has thoughts on which might be the best grocery stop for someone following a low carb diet? We will be staying at Beach Club Villas in a studio, so won't be doing alot of cooking, but still want to pick up some simple, yet legal things.

Well, just about any full grocery store can fulfill those needs. Some are just more expensive than others. Goodings is way expensive but very convenient.

We just asked the limo driver to stop at a supermarket...we left it up to him. Walmart has the best prices, but I don't know if there's one on the way that's a super Walmart with a lot of food items. Why not ask the driver?

Most supermarkets have a low carb section now for bars and snacks. Macadamia nuts are low carb as well for a snack. Do you plan to buy regular food for meals as well?

Will probably pick up some Egg beaters, microwave bacon, cheese; that way I can throw a quick breakfast together using the microwave. As far as lunch & dinner....that will probably be eaten out. I'm not too worried about that, actually. I will also want to pick up some Atkins bars. I know they may make me stall, but I'd rather stall than gain on vacation!

I really like the new Publix grocery store that's right behind the Premium Outlet Mall (5 or so minutes from Downtown Disney.) The store is huge, they seem to cater to people on vacations, the prices aren't as outrageous as Goodings (which is a little closer to Downtown Disney) and I've never run in to a mob scene at the check-out counter.
