My bestest friend in the whole wide world, is moving to California in a week :( I'm so sad, I don't know what i'm going to do without her. :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

broke my heart.......but heck.....it is only 40 miles away.....but may as well be the other side of the planet.......hey......we have alot of Mainers on the dis.......welcome and hope that you find time to visit often

 I know what it's like. My best friend's DH desperatly wants to move them from Boston to New Orleans. :( I really hope they don't go, but I have a feeling they will. It's never easy.

Try to think of it as a good reason to travel to Disneyland! :) You'll have to visit your friend as often as possible. :)

 But seriously, I know, I know it's hard. :(

Oh how I know how you feel. My best friend in the world moved from NJ to MO in May. It was hard to say our good-byes but as time goes on it gets a little less sad.:sad1: We talk all the time (get the unlimited calling plan). It's not the same but it helps.

 I moved away from my best friend too! Hang in there

Thanks guys...

I'm confused, Maine, is really really far from California. Clarification? She's moving to Cali, I'm staying in Maine......

I understand. My best friend moved with her husband and baby, who was just like my other child, from Georgia to Arizona. It was tough for a while, but over the years it got easier. Hugs to you..
Ann

I belive what pumba was saying is that her best friend moved 40 miles and it was hard for her too.

Keep in touch with her via letters, pictures, emails, and phone calls as much as you can and remember the good times you had togther. Try to do a yearly trip with her so that the both of you can go to new places and have new memories.
