Want to load up the Ipad for our Disney trip. We depart Thursday. 6 year old boy and 3 year old girl. Want somethingsthat are FREE and won't need you to buy stuff to complete levels and such.

Boy is into boy "stuff" like racing, sports, action...

Girl likes girl "stuff" like princesses, cooking, baby dolls....

Any ideas would be appreciated....

Hill Climb Racing would be good for the boy, and there are all kinds of "maker" games. Popsicles, cupcakes, donuts, etc. Some require purchases for more colors/toppings, but they all offer several free choices. My 3 year old niece loves those. Kaleidoscope is good too. It is a art app. Easy for any age.

ETA: Bowling is always an easy one for young kids, too.

Download appsgonefree from the App Store. Every day it features new free apps, lots of great kiddo stuff. It was suggested to me by my twins' speech therapist and I've got some great games from it.

My 3yr old DS likes Jakes Neverland Pirate school & Cars 2 Lite, both of which were free. There is also a Disney Puzzle pack that has free puzzles and some that you have to pay for.

I would suggest checking out theimums on Facebook. That is my source for free apps for the iPad for the preschool/elementary age kiddos. Tons of great info there and frequently codes for free apps. My daughter's iPad is fully loaded with great apps for little ones thanks to them.

While it does cost a couple of bucks tozzel is a great puzzle app I got it when dd was 3 she is now 7 and has a 3 year old brother and they both still play it. No extra purchases just a one time fee. Lego has a few games that are free that both of my kids like.
