My daughter's celebrating her 15th birthday on our trip. :cheer2: What's the best restaurant to celebrate in? And is it worth it to order a special cake through the bakery?

this is the podium cake you can order when you arrive at the restaurant. There is a choice of chocolate or vanilla.

this was at California Grill in the Contemporary and it was delicious.

It cost $25 - i think - don't recall honestly. and it served 8.

I would honestly ask her what type of restaurant she wants. Does she want a character dinner, or something more fancy? Cause there are many responses you will get.
California Grill (view of wishes)
Ohana is another good one for the wishes view.

it is my son`s bday also when we will be there, and we will do the breakfast with mickey, hope they do something special

She's not sure what kind of meal she wants. I was thinking about Chef Mickey's because that's the only restaurant she requested we visit on this trip. I think she's trying to relive her childhood visits. lol They only have an opening at 8:05 pm so it'll have to be a late dinner for us.

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. She's not a girly-girl, not a tom boy either. Her favorite character is Pooh, but we're having breakfast at The Crystal Palace later in the week. Nothing fancy. We're on vacation and want to relax. Thank you!

I ate at CRT for one of my birthday's, and that was fun, so's Akershus if she would have fun at a princess meal. I ate at Chef Mickey's for breakfast the last time I was in the World on my birthday, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend it, I liked the dinner I had there a few years ago better. Boma is good, so is California Grill like others have said.

Personally, I'd probably switch Crystal Palace to dinner, and eat there on her birthday, or just eat there for dinner and breakfast on different days. I like it much better there then at Chef Mickey's.

I agree. I thought Chef Mickeys wasnt very good either. Food wasnt even warm. Although if you really want to see the fab 5 characters....then why not try it out. Just dont go there with high expectations re: food.
Crystal Palace has always been very good. Ohana is great too.
