I'm sorry if this has been asked several times before, but I'm hoping you'll respond anyway. We are booked with the DDP for our 6 night stay; however, we are using 2 TS for Hoop dee doo.

For the extra night, looking for a sit down dining experience (on the DDP or not doesn't matter) that would be worth paying OOP. We are a family of 4 including 2 young sons (who will be 4 and 19 months at the time of our vacation).

This restaurant could be in a theme park or not, probably not a buffet (b/c to me they are not worth it OOP). Looking for great food, generally solid service, and reasonable (ie. entrees under $20, closer to $15 would be great). Or even if they had really great appetizers, sometimes I'll order 2 apps instead of an entree.

Thanks!!

I've got a few thoughts on this. For some really neat atmosphere and nicely priced menu items you might try Beaches 'n Cream @ the Beach Club.

My other thought would be ESPN Club at the Boardwalk...they've got a number of great apps, neat atmosphere and decently priced entrees.

For something in the parks there are a few spots that some to mind. Plaza Restaurant in MK is a beautiful dining room with sandwiches and other items that are in your price range on the menu. Also, Sci-Fi Dine In at DHS has good apps and moderately priced entrees.

Have fun!!

I know a lot of people don't like Rainforest Cafe but DH and I can usually find something within the price range you're wanting that we like. Also our girls have always liked the atmosphere. Our oldest who is 4 told us when we go back she wants to eat at the rainforest and described everything. We've always had good service there (at DTD and AK).

This next time we are going to try T-Rex. Truthfully with our loud girls  I like loud restaurants. I don't have to tell them to quiet down as much.

Possibly thinking of Sanaa, Boatwright's, or maybe returning to Kona because my husband and I eat sushi. Rainforest is a possibility. We are staying ay Coronado if that helps.

You might try WPE in DTD. It's not table service, you order at the counter then they bring your food and drinks to your table. We have eaten there often and the food has always been great.

I agree with Rainforest for the budget-minded and like Fulton's, even Shula's, for when you have a few more bucks to spend. In the parks, it's hit and miss especially with "signatures," but we find ourselves happy with Rose & Crown in Epcot. Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is a good deal for a dinner show.

Kona is great if you want great food, service, and sushi! I would definitely recommend there. It's a personal favorite!
