Best DVC Resort if You're Going to Convention Center?

Our professional organization will be meeting in Orlando next year, and I'm starting to look at possibilities for traveling down with a few colleagues (whom I LIKE!) and staying on property. We'll probably actually go to the convention some so we'll need to be able to access the Orange County Convention Center. Which DVC resort would provide most ready access? (We'll have a car or two, and I'm pretty good with driving in Orlando.)

The closest resorts would be SSR and OKW and AKV is also close in terms of highway access to get to the Convention Center. In reality, none of the DVC resorts are a bad drive there. BLT is the farthest and even that resort has easy access.

I wouldn't worry too much about which resort - all are within about a 20 minute drive.

I agree with the PP as long as you have a car non of them are bad. OKW and SSR seem to be closer due to their proximity to DD but there are such good road throughout the property all the others are just a few more minutes away. If it were me, since I've been to that beast of a convention center a few times, go somewhere where you won't have to walk much when you are at the resort as your feet will be TIRED.

I would pick a resort closest to the parks that I will spend the most time in.
