I have heard about "Drinking Around the World". Some of us would love to try some of these cocktails.

Which drinks do you recommend at each country?

TIA :)

No doubt, your first should be a Margarita from Mexico. I also highly recommend a glass of Rosa Regale from Italy (its like a fruity champagne).

Black Velvet at the Rose and Crown! Mmmmmmmm yummy! And I always have to have a Reisling in Germany. So cold and refreshing.

The fiesta margarita in Mexico is the best. It's four flavours of frozen margarita layered in one cup (lime, kiwi, mango, & strawberry).

There were more I wanted to try but couldn't afford to, including the Grey Goose and Grand Marnier slush in France, and the Mt. Fuji in Japan (sounded like a blue margarita). Japan also has a sake bar at the back of Mitsukoshi.

Mmmmm, keep those suggestions coming!!!!:goodvibes I am already planning on trying the fiesta margarita from Mexico when we go!!!

Hey, what's a BLACK VELVET? Love the sound of that! I'm at EPCOT pretty often and love to "drink around the world"! :rotfl:

It has already been mentioned but the fiesta margarita in Mexico is my favorite. Just have 3-4 of those and skip the other countries...you won't care. ;)

Another vote for the margarita! My fav! So delicisious and just the thing to hit the spot and a hot summer day in Epcot!

Many of the countries do have beers, though there are several I would suggest skipping. Casablanca beer at Morrocco would be a definite skip. Unfortunately, Canada now has Moosehead, relpacing Labatt's when I was there a few years ago. And of course, Dos Equis at Mexico. You can have the margaritas, I'll have my Dos Equis!

Italy - Rose Regale!!!!!! I am absolutely hooked on that! The one thing that you need to make sure you do is ask for a piece of dark chocolate to go with it. Normally this is offered to the guest, but not always. The chocolate pairs wonderfully with the sweetness of the sparkling wine.

Mexico - I have to agree, the margarita. I like having the multi-layered. I can't remember all the flavors but at least this way, you get a little of each.

Germany - Go to the outside beer stand, great selection of beer if you like that sort of thing. for 5 or 10 dollars you can buy a plastic 20oz beer stein. It's great for travelling country to country.

England: Rose and Crown. Need I say more?

It's half Guinness and half champagne. The two stay separated until you start drinking... and the more you drink, the more they mix together. Absolutely delicious.

Does each country have a beer? If so, I'm in.

We meet again, fellow western Kentuckian. They do in fact each have a beer; I know because I drank most of them two years ago.

Mexico: Dos Equis - on tap!
Norway: Used to be Ringeness, but it's now Carlsberg
China: Tisngtao (very good)
Germany: Lowenbrau Original, Beck's Dark, and Franziskaner Weisse
Italy: Drawing a blank
America: Bud Light and Sam Adams
Japan: Kirin and Ichiban
Morocco: Casa
France: Kronenbourg (surprisingly tasty)
UK: Bass Ale, Boddingtons English Pub Ale, Harp Lager, Stella Artois, Tennents, Strongbow Cider, and Guinness Stout. Sweet!
Canada: Moosehead, as mentioned.

Where in France can you get the Grand Marnier slushie? This sounds incredible!:drinking1

Moroccorita in Morocca. There is a little stand there that sells pastries and slushy drinks. It is soooo yummy.
