Best Drinks at World Showcase...

The tangerine cocktail in Morocco is a new fav.
also the Slushies in France, Mt. Fuji in Japan, Margarita in Mexico
and if its not crowded an Ice Wine martini to go in Canada

We meet again, fellow western Kentuckian. They do in fact each have a beer; I know because I drank most of them two years ago.

Mexico: Dos Equis - on tap!
Norway: Used to be Ringeness, but it's now Carlsberg
China: Tisngtao (very good)
Germany: Lowenbrau Original, Beck's Dark, and Franziskaner Weisse
Italy: Drawing a blank
America: Bud Light and Sam Adams
Japan: Kirin and Ichiban
Morocco: Casa
France: Kronenbourg (surprisingly tasty)
UK: Bass Ale, Boddingtons English Pub Ale, Harp Lager, Stella Artois, Tennents, Strongbow Cider, and Guinness Stout. Sweet!
Canada: Moosehead, as mentioned.

Do they still have Unibroue beers in Canada? I remeber they used to carry them. It would be a shame if no longer sell them, they are excellent.

I'm the odd one out on the DIS - I don't like the Rosa Regale at all. I was really looking forward to trying it with all the raves it gets here. I like a drier wine, I guess. :confused3

Does each country have a beer? If so, I'm in.

Yes, most countries do have beer.

The usuals from the UK, Moosehead and Moosehead light on tap in Canada as well as two in bottles (Moosehead is the best choice)
US has Sam Adams
China and Japan both have beer
Germany..quite a few good ones
Casa (no more blanca on the label..)in Morocco is quite good.
Norway..something not even from the country..ugh.
Mexco..beer at the walk up restaurant

Most of the beers around world showcase you can find in your local liquor store..or you make keep them in your fridge, fun none the less.

and DD is 22 so I think we'll do at least SOME ;) drinking!! I have to say we didn't like the Fiesta Margarita last trip. The mango, which is the bottom layer, was really sour!! Couldn't get past it & threw most of it away. This time, straight strawberry for us!! And although not in Epcot, don't forget the Lapu Lapu's at the Poly, to die for!!!

My DH and I always stop into the Rose and Crown!
Black and Tan for him and a hard cider for me in the A/C!!!

:yay:

mmmmmmm, beer.......

wow I think I found my faborite thread :thumbsup2

Way too many of these recommendations sound amazing - looks like I might need to spend two different days a Epcot! :rolleyes1

The fiesta margarita in Mexico is the best. It's four flavours of frozen margarita layered in one cup (lime, kiwi, mango, & strawberry).

There were more I wanted to try but couldn't afford to, including the Grey Goose and Grand Marnier slush in France, and the Mt. Fuji in Japan (sounded like a blue margarita). Japan also has a sake bar at the back of Mitsukoshi.

I agree, beer drinkers the yard of beer in England.

If you will be there at Christmas time-my favorite was the Christmas Kir at France-Pomagranate Liquour and Champage...yummy!

I also love a Dos Equis from Mexico.

It's half Guinness and half champagne. The two stay separated until you start drinking... and the more you drink, the more they mix together. Absolutely delicious.

Ok, I've done a Car Bomb before- a shot of Jameson's in a pint of Guinness...that was...well, um...not my favorite drink ever:eek: ...I've never heard of a Black Velvet before, I can't imagine how the two would taste together...I think I will have to try it sometime.

Black Velvet is absolutely *nothing* like a Car Bomb, other than they both include Guinness as an ingredient.
