I need to get a Double Stroller and I am so confused as what to get. I want to make sure whatever one i get is great for Disney. DD will be 2 1/2 and DS will be 7 months when we go. I currently own an uppababy (and i love it) but i don't want to use the 2nd seat attachment b/c its just not comfortable for napping. That being said what are your picks? keep in mind- i need full recline for both children and good storage space, as we do not go back to the room for naps-these kids will sleep anywhere.

Baby jogger citi mini. If you don't want to purchase it, many offsite companies offer it for rental at reasonable rates.

I am bringing our City Mini double in October. I think it should work well. We had the Uppababy Vista for our oldest and then added the little ride-on board to the back when DD2 arrived. That worked for short trips, but for Disney I want a reclining seat with a good sunshade for both of them.

I agree with TiggerTrigger. We rented the City Mini double in January and it was fantastic. We rented for Orlando Stroller Rental. They were wonderful.

Has anyone used the citi mini outside of Disney? I want to buy it but i want to know how well it works outside the parks as well. I hear a lot of people do not like the side by sides-and prefer the tandem. I just don't think a tandem will work for Disney do to the lack of both seats having a full recline.

I use ours pretty regularly for walks to the park and around town. I do find it a little tricky to squeeze into doorways when out shopping, but it does fit. I've only used a Phil & Ted's tandum before and I prefer the seating of the side-by-side for my 3.5 year old.

When I go shopping I much prefer our tandem (we have a graco Quattro). I would never, and I mean never, bring it to WDW. I see people pushing the graco duogliders all the time and I know it's got to be miserable. The Quattro is a step up from those and I wouldn't want to push mine all day (the front seat does recline well though). How much are you planning on using a stroller for your day to day activities? It really may be more worth it to rent since you have the uppa baby now.

If you love the Uppa Baby try the City Elite IF you can find it. They stopped making the double. We go last years model a couple months ago from albeebaby for less than the city mini GT. It is bigger and heavier than the city mini but it is a dream to push.

We went to buy buy baby and looked at the city elite single before buying to make sure dd would fit (girl is TALL) and she had plenty of room even though she is almost out of the uppababy.

We have a Combi Sport Twin and love it. It is light weight and folds easily. It's a side-by-side. We had a tandem after my son was 1st born. A huge Graco Duo Glider, which I really liked because the car seat attached and it fully reclined, but once my son was sitting up no-one wanted to sit in the back, and the tandem really was ridiculously huge and bulky.

We are taking our Baby Jogger City Mini double when we go in Sept/Oct. I have used it for my twins (now 4 1/2) since they were 20 months old. I've taken them everywhere in it (parks, playgrounds, zoo, aquarium, boardwalk) and absolutely LOVE it! The sun shades cannot be beat and I have never had a problem getting through any doors. The seats do recline fully, it is easy to push (now 80lbs of kids), easy to fold and very lightweight to load into a car or onto a bus. The storage underneath is not the best so I got a "Mommy Hook" to hang stuff on the push bar. You won't regret buying or renting this stroller!

We have the BOB Revolution Dual and LOVE IT! My top choice was the City Mini side-by-side but I let DH have this win. I think both strollers are just as wide (basically, if a wheelchair can navigate down aisles and through doorways, so can these strollers.) Both handle very well with one hand. Both are very comfortable to push and ride in. The CM is lighter and easier to collapse. The BOB is more equipped for running with shocks and three tires. The CM is about $450 and the BOB is $650. IF you are an actual runner spend the extra money. If not the CM double is a great stroller!!!

I really enjoyed using the Baby Jogger City Mini double stroller when we went in 2010. It was easy to push, and I loved the ease of the fold.

I have a Graco Twin Ipo and love it. It's a twin umbrella stroller. 50lb limit per seat, and full recline. It's easy to push, and fits through doors (sometimes it's a tight squeeze, but we do make it!) and it folds sooo small for busses.
There isn't a lot of storage, just a smaller basket under each seat, but I purchased some stroller
organizers for the back that have cupholders and a mesh pouch. A small cooler bag goes under one seat, sweaters under the other, diapers/wipes, sunblock, snacks, bandaids etc all go in the organizers.
The sun canopies are a bit on the smaller side, so we also purchased a rayshade to extend them.

Since you already have a bigger double, why not look into a double umbrella stroller?

OK - so we went to buybuybaby last night and looked at 3 strollers- the city mini, the joovy scooter x2, and the britax beagile double. They all look like the city mini-fold the same way and are the same size in length

pros/cons of each-
city mini is has the least under storage but is 399 plus i can add on cup holder and snack trays but they are extra $
joovy has the most under storage and is 229 plus i can use a bedbath 20%off coupon but there is one huge sunshade for both kids and they don’t make any accessories
beagile- is the most at 449 is the lightest has more storage then the mini and i can add on accesories snack tray cup holder etc.

this will be a second stroller for us as my daughter likes to walk and i have the 2nd seat for the uppababy when she gets tired. I will use this for my mall shopping and places where space is tight in NYC.

But the 2nd stroller is for long day trips- like zoos, aquarium, boardwalk, Disney (2X year), sesame place, a/c Hershey etc...

So thoughts? thank you everyone for you advice- it was much needed.
