I would like to open a friendly competition of who has had the most magical b-day at wdw. when the postings slow to a crawl I will declare a winner.

me first.

this past july, on my b-day we started the day at Chef Mickey's where I received the plastic place setting with all the autographs and a cupcake (yes, at breakfast). We then headed to Epcot. I got my b-day pin right away and while in the Living Seas a castmember spotted me and next thing I know I was on the phone with Goofy wishing me a happy b-day. For lunch we went to Le Cellier and I received a wonderful free dessert after the waiter noticed my pin. And I had several happy birthday's shouted at me from castmember all through the world showcase.

I realize that my day was probably a typical disney b-day. But I wonder who had the best all-time. Contestants let the games begin

DH's birthday this past November. The hotel had messed up our ressie the night before and the manager offered to have a driver take us to the MK to try to make it up to us. So....

POFQ van took us to the TTC for our breakfast at Crystal Palace. He tried to take us directly to MK first and got lost and we ended up seeing the Main Street buildings backside. Neat.

We had breakfast at Crystal Palace and DH got a cupcake and a card from the characters. I had secretly made birthday shirts and DH was so surprised. We went to City Hall and DH got his birthday button and a FP for the ride of his choice. We went back to hotel after enjoying rides at MK. During our break, a CM from the hotel dropped off a card with a 5x7 of Snow White and the 7 dwarves (w/autographs from all of them). Grumpy is DH's favorite character and the manager must have worked a little Disney magic. Dh was asleep when it was delivered. I woke him up and showed him the card and he CRIED! He was having such a great day.

After our nap, we went back to MK for his birthday dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. The table was sprinkled with pixie dust and we had a good time and a great meal. Turkey & mashed potatoes are his favorite meal so that's why we ate here. After dinner, we got a spot along the Spectro parade route (right at the rope) 15 minutes before the parade. We capped off the night huddling together with our kids and watching Wishes on Main Street. :lovestruc

Last year, my family was going on vacation the day after my birthday, but, smart me was able to phinagle a work meeting in Orlando the morning of my birthday, so I spent the evening at the MK by myself. It started with purchasing my AP, the CM noticed my birthday on my drivers license and asked how many were with me. When I said, they all arrive tomorrow, she wished me a great evening, handed me a brand-new AP (with Minnie Mouse on it!), a pin and two fast-passes for the ride of my choice!

Throughout the evening, I would have CMs stop and wish me a Happy Birthday - and was even sung to over the loud speaker while riding Aladdin's Carpets! Pecos Bill's gave me a free dessert and I was able to walk up for a FANTASTIC place at Wishes.

Like the OP said, probably nothing out of the ordinary for Disney, but I sure felt like a princess:

Last month I spent my birthday weekend at the world. Started on Saturday with purchasing my FL res. AP at MGM. The castmember at the ticket window noticed it was my birthday th enext day and presented me with my Birthday Button. All day, castmembers and other guests were constantly wishing me a Happy Birthday. It felt great. When I went to buy my Princess Santa Hat, the castmember in the store gave me Happy Birthday trading pin and had everyone in the store sing to me. :goodvibes

On Sunday, my actual birthday, we started out with resort hopping along the monorail to see all of the Christmas Decorations. We enjoyed the Grand Floridian so much, that my boyfriend suprised me with brunch at the cafe. We were going to go back to our resort for a while and then return to the MK that evening for MVMCP, instead, my boyfriend was having so much fun that he agreed to spend the entire day at the MK. Again, everyone wished me a Happy Birthday, even other park guests. We had dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table, where our server presented me with a Magical Moment Certificate and a pair of champagne flutes! What a pleasant surprise!

The favorite part of the day was after the evening christmas parade. A little girl, who would be turning three in a couple of days, came over to me after the parade to wish me a happy birthday. Well, she made me feel so special, that I went into the candy store and bought her a princess wand filled with candy. When I gave this to her and wished her a happy birthday, the smile on her face made me feel so wonderful! Pass along some pixie dust whenever the right moment hits you and it's amazing how good it makes you feel! I can honestly say it was the best birthday ever!

I can't wait to do it all over again this year! :bday:

Last October our family went to WDW during the "free dining" plan promotion, so needless to say we ate at a lot of table service meals. :woohoo: My DH turned 40 last October so this was his big b'day celebration (all week). Nearly everywhere we ate he got a cupcake with candle, pixie dust, cards signed by the characters (with 3 kids we ate at several character meals), and he was sung to. But I guess the part that made his b'day really special was when we had breakfast in the castle. Every princess (or "hottie" as he respectfully calls them  ) came over to sign his b'day card and wish him a happy birthday. I also took his picture with each princess - looking back on that, he may have enjoyed that a little too much. :scratchin   ;) :teeth:
