Where have you gotten your best deal on Universal tickets? How much and where did you get them?

I would like to know this too. My ds wants to go for one day with his best friend when we are at WDW in a few months. We have never done Universal or IOA.

when i went the summer of 09, i purchased my tickets from Costco - i think it was about 92.00 per ticket - unlimited for 7 days

We got ours at Costco for the upcoming trip. I believe they were $149 for 3 day pass good for any 3 days till 12/12.

Last time I checked, Costco sold 3 day passes for $139 plus tax. The good thing is that they don't expire until Dec. of 2013 and you don't have to use them within a certain period after activating.

So, you could go one day in 2011, one day is 2012, and one day in 2013.

We still are looking for something cheaper, but can't seem to find a better deal yet.

per person $149.00? boy they went up in price.....
Yep they have! :guilty:

I am thinking of buying an AP and crossing my fingers for a second trip, later this year, to make the purchase worth while. It would really be a gamble.

Our Costco doesn't offer the USO passes. I guess you have to call around and check to see which stores do offer them. I have also seen on threads that some passes expire 2012 and some expire 2013. If you find them, when you purchase the passes and they bring them to you from the 'vault', check them to see when they expire before you leave the store. It appears that, if you ask them for the passes that expire in 2013, they will look for that expiration date for you. :goodvibes

undercover tourist has one day ticket for 85 including tax..i have used them before they are great, not sure how much you are saving though....i belong to ticketsatwork.com and they have a one day ticket for 81 including tax if anyone's work participates in that site

You have to call the Costco's - some have expiration dates of Dec. 2013 and some have 2014 .

I got mine at the Montgomeryville PA Costco about 3 weeks ago. They had a lot then.

Two years ago Costco sold a 3 month pass for $85. Unfortunately, those days are gone. Now they only have the $139 for 3 days deal.

That is where we went! I did not know 2014 was an option! That would have been even better but we were happy with the 2013 expiration. We are going for 1 day in May and then maybe next summer we will spend 2 days and stay at one of their hotels.

We also have access to Tickets at work, but I thought you had to pick them up in Florida. I don't need any more stops while there!

AAA also sells tickets, $85.33 for one park/one day adult and $76.81 for child. This is only a few dollars off the gate price, but it can save you time. My friend went in November and chose to get them at the gate because the prices were so close, but ended up waiting in a long line to get the tickets. She said she wished she had bought them ahead of time.

If you have anyone that works for GE can get discounted tickets. My MIL works for them and we got tickets for our next trip for $78 2 parks 2 day tickets and it was $57 for one day 1 park ticket. $111 for the 4 days one and $130 for the 7 day/

not sure if the GE discount is around anymore since they sold controlling ownership of NBCU last month. it might still be available since they still own 49%, but it might not.

tickets at work can be mailed to you, or they have emailed ticket option, as well as pick up in florida.
