I was just wondering what the best deal anyone has gotten on the dining plan? I am considering Narcosse's which takes 2 TS or Capt Jacks which I think is just 1 TS but I have heard some people have beeen able to add a lobster tail to your meal so that seems like a great value,it doesn't seem like Ohana's or Boma would be a good choice because their meals aren't as expensive and include dessert I think I could just pay for those meals,I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks!!! :)

From what I understand, at OHana you get an additional dessert to the pineapple and carmel sauce that comes with the meal. Our plan is to eat where we want to eat and what we want. I think it's a pretty good deal even if you don't get the most expensive meal at the most expensive restaurants.

I agree! Just go to the MYW restaurants where you have an interest in eating, and ignore the price--that's really the best thing about the plan. If you just try to wring out the best value, you'll miss some good restaurants!

(That being said, we love the Concourse Steakhouse, which is a great value on the MYW plan!)

We thought dinner at Cindy's was a great deal using the plan. Also like the Sci-Fi @ MGM. Have a good trip.

I think dinner at the Yachtsman is also a good deal on the plan, actually most places are with the exception of Beaches and Cream, I was surprised that this is a table service location! We are paying out of pocket for Hollywood and Vine because we are doing a couple of signature meals, so we need to make up for it and the H&V buffet is relatively inexpensive. I wish they would add more restaurants in DTD and Epcot!

Thanks for the great feedback I do plan on eating where I really want to eat mainly Ohana's,Le Cellier,Boma,Jiko, and The Brown Derby and am also considering Captain Jacks and Narcosse but since I am resort hopping I only have 3 days on the dining plan (I will be doing Candlelight and Fantasmic Dinner packages for Le Cellier and Brown Derby)so I want to know what meals I should use the dining plan for and those I should pay for on my own,I love lobster and shrimp so a good seafood restaurant would probably work out best for me.I have never eaten at any of the restaurants I have listed except The Brown Derby so I am excited to try some new places and would appreciate any feedback on my choices.
Thanks!!!! :)

Goodferry: I'm looking at my restaurant list from wdwinfo.com and B&C is listed as a counter service and as a snack, not table service. Has that changed? I thought it was a good deal for cs but I'll have to change our dining itinerary if it has changed. Also, I thought it was on the BW and I know I am wrong -- how long does it take from the BW to Beach Club, do you know? :sad2:
