Best day of week for Universal Grayline tour?

We will be in Anaheim May 2-7, a Thurs-Tues with a 5day park hopper for Disneyland/California Adventure.

I want to do a day at Universal, preferably the Grayline Universal/City tour.

What day would be best to do this tour: Sat, Sun or Mon

Any day works, but Mondays are less crowded at the theme parks due to having fewer locals. You might consider looking at whether there are any special events planned at the Chinese Theater along Hollywood Boulevard so your family can see some extra action going on while in the area (or you might also want to avoid that so you can take pictures in front of your favorite stars without a big mob of people around). Either way, the Gray Line tour is a convenient way to do it all from Anaheim without having to deal with the LA traffic. -Justin

We did this tour - with a quick visit to Walk of Fame and a quick tour of the city afterwards - we chose a Wednesday (in July) and it wasn't too bad. I would personally avoid the weekend and go the Monday.
