Best day for MVMCP

We've never been to the Christmas party before and I think we will do it this year. Is there a "recommended" day of the week to do the party?
We have the the options of:
Sun 12/4
Tue 12/6
Thr 12/8
Fri 12/9

I'm thinking the Friday party will be busier/sold out?

I have always been told Sundays are the best, because locals have to work/school the next day. For the same reason Fridays are the worst. Both times we have gone have been Sundays and they have been really fun with fairly short lines for rides. We don't do meet and greets very much so I don't know about that.

Fridays will have larger crowds because locals are more likely to come then.

I'm also debating between a Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday party - not sure which I'll pick yet!

Tuesdays and Thursdays are always the best / least crowded. Next best option would be Sunday.

I have only been to November MVMCP's, so I am not sure how Dec parties are and if they sell out. The past 2 years I have gone to a Sunday party and a Thursday party in November. Both were amazing as far as crowds go. They were not sold out parties though, so this makes a difference. Last years party on a Thursday night was the best MVMCP I have ever been to. We had an early 4:30pm dinner at BOG. We were done by 6pm, and the park was clearing out. There were no crowds all night. Every ride was a walk on and Mine Train was only 10 minutes. Meet and Greets weren't bad either. It was fantastic! We will stick to a Sunday or Thursday party in the future.

I would use weather to determine the best day. You won't be sold out; so, you can buy last minute. It can get cold in the evening. We have worn hooded jackets.

I agree I would stay away from Friday.

My family and I will be in WDW from Dec 7-12th so we are choosing to do the party on Thurs the 8th instead of Fri the 9th. We have been to 2 parties on Tuesdays and 1 party on Sunday in past years. I don't think any of them were too crowded. We got to do everything we wanted to do. We're hoping that a Thurs party has the same results!

Great to know, thank you for the responses. I would like to wait until week of to check weather but I'm scared of the party selling out ... hmmm ... something to think about.
