We leave tomorrow!! I wasa thinking about trying to Illluminations at Epcot our first night there, and I was wondering what everyone thought about CS in Epcot. I remember getting a really good lunch at the China Pavilion on our honeymoon, but that was 15 years ago! We have onlly eaten TS there the last few years so I have no idea. I would like to do a little better than the average burgers and chicken fingers. I wuld appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Sunshine Seasons has great variety.. The Bakery in Norway - you can get soup, sandwich and dessert for a good value - and tasty too. Morroco also has pretty good CS.

Tangierine Cafe at Morocco is my favorite.:thumbsup2

Do you like Gyros? The Lamb Schwarma platter they serve there has a similar flavor.

Fish and Chips are available in the UK

The French and Norwegian bakeries have sandwiches.

Germany Sommerfest has hot dogs and Bratwurst.

America is the burgers and chicken fingers you are avoiding.

The Japanese CS gets bad reveiws. Some call it Yuck-itori. (I've never personally been)

Some like Mexico, others don't. I think you can get better Mexican off property.

I also feel the better Chinese can be gotten off property.

No CS at Italy or Canada.

I think Sunshine Seasons at the Land is a great CS in Future World. The deserts there are great too!

Tangierine Cafe is Morocco is the BEST. The platters are so big two people can share and they are amazing. Mmm... I would kill for one right now!

I would have mentioned Tangierine Cafe before December but I didn't like my December lunch - it was really cold. If I go back I will not order anything but the veggie platter.

Sunshine Seasons food court in the Land Pavillion has a wide selection. Some "dinner quality" plates there, not just lunch type dishes.

For countries we like Morocco, Japan, and UK for counter service, with Morocco being our favorite. The others are OK, depends on what you're in the mood for.

Another vote for Sunshine Seasons-everyone can usually find something they like-We love the Rare Tuna Salad-so yummy! (Seared Tuna on Mixed Greens with Sesame Rice Wine dressing $8.49)

Also another vote for Tangierine Cafe. (Shawarma Sandwiches- served with hummus, Tabouleh, and a Tangierine Couscous Salad with Fresh Moroccan bread. Lamb $11.95)

We may be in the minority but we actually like Cantina De San Angel-but then we are from So Cal-what do we know about Mexican food?:rotfl2: (Plato Combinacion - chicken taco, beef burrito and a quesadilla served with black refried beans and Mexican salsa $8.75) They also have one of the best deals in the parks. A couple of tortillas for only about 30 cents (a few years back) I got them for DD and she made a burrito out of my beans.

Thanks for the suggestions - Morocco (Tangerine Cafe) and the Land Pavillion (Sushine Seasons). Hope I got the names right. Can't wait - we'll be eating there soon!

We ate at both last week and thought Tangeriene was the better of the two this trip. Sunshine Seasons was good though, just not quite as good.

I vote Sunshine Seasons as the selection is great and you have some healthier options than your run of the mill burger and fries.
