Best credit card to use to purchase UT tickets

So, I'm about to spend around $2,000 in park hopper tickets for our upcoming trip. I think I can get 1% back by going thru my ebates. Does anyone know which is the best credit card to use for the tickets. I have a Disney preferred visa and a Chase sapphire preferred (along with the usual Discover and some other random ones). Not sure if either one will allow 2% cash back with tickets purchased through Undercover Tourist. TIA!!!

Disney preferred card will only award 1% and that will be in Disney Rewards Dollars. The CSR might credit as "travel" for 2 points per dollar but even at 1 point per dollar, it's worth more than 1% if you redeem for travel through their portal.

If you're in your first year with Discover, you would get 1% cash back initially and then it will be matched on your anniversary for a total of 2% cash back.

Otherwise, how open are you to opening a new CC with a sign up bonus that you can use the UT purchase toward the minimum spend? In all honesty, that would be your best option.

Thanks for that info..I have to buy them today or tomorrow so I can get my FP's, so I dont have time to wait! Thanks for the info. I just didnt know how they would be coded, and if they would count at 1% or 2%.

The fine print at Ebates says no cash back on tickets. You should be able to get 2xUR on your CSP though.
