Best credit card for points?

Hi they call it purchase eraser because you just erase whatever it is.
For example.. rental car charge $28 on your bill it will ask if you want
to erase(apply credit/point) then its gone.I had 23 dollars in movie tickets ..I
applied my credit to that etc..

This is still my most used card because as someone who goes on Disney cruises once
or twice a year I need flexible or general travel credit.

That makes sense...Thank you!

In my opinion the Discover cash back card is the way to go. All purchases are 1% cash back Quarterly its gives 5% cash back on certain purchases up to $1,500 dollars. A lot of times it includes wholesale clubs. BJ's allows you to purchase Disney Gift cards online with no membership (already discounted at 5% off). So you will be saving 10% on Disney Gift cards. Now for extra bonus take those gift cards and load them on your Disney Vacation Account and use that account to pay for your Disney vacation. Every 1,000 you spend from your Disney Vacation account they send you a $20 Disney Gift Card (NOTE: Your Disney vacation account must be open for 120 days to get the bonus!!!!). You are in essence saving 12% by doing all this and every little bit helps!!!!! :) ALSO FOR NEW CUSTOMERS DISCOVER WILL MATCH YOUR CASH BACK SAVINGS THE FIRST YEAR!!! Disney here we come!!! :)

We do already have a Southwest Visa as my hubby travels a lot for work, so we earn some miles to help with the flight costs for 4 people. But, I am looking for the best way to earn either Disney specific points or cashback that could be used directly to help pay towards a Disney vacation
With a Chase card that earns UR (Ultimate Rewards) points, you can sign into your UR acct and use the points to book Disney hotels or request the points back in cash

I was thinking about signing up for the Disney card as they are currently offering a $200 statement credit (with $49 fee) after spending $500.

Our park tickets will be $438 so I was going to use the card to purchase the tickets and food while in the parks. I probably wouldn't use the card after returning home. I just wanted to take advantage of the offer (essentially saving $150 and 10% on food) and immediately pay it off.

Thoughts?

The CC offer has to be worth the equivalent of $1,000 or more to consider it. Any annual fee must come with a perk to keep the card.

With that being said-we have the following.

All major airline cards-SW, AA, Delta, United. We have no luggage cost worries. The SW annual fee($99) gives each of us 6,000 miles-we booked one way flights from Cincinnati to Vegas that were $117 cash for 5,878 points, so essentially a free flight. Delta gives us a one time RT companion pass for any domestic flight when the fee is due ($195).

Chase Freedom-use it alot-pay it off monthly. We have over $1,500 cash built up there in the past 2+ years.

Hilton Amex-tons of bonus points, a free night with the annual fee. We are pretty loyal to Hilton properties so building up points is great. Love the 5th night free when booking with points-stayed in DT San Diego for just over $500 with breakfast daily last month.

We had the Disney Visa, but rarely used it as Chase Freedom was a better card for us.

I am not sure if you are a Bank of America customer but if you are, you should consider their Travel Rewards Card. It has no annual fee, no foreign transaction fees and easy access to rewards. For example, you can go online and pretty much erase your charges with your travel account. We are going on a Disney cruise this summer and I have already paid for our tours, transfers and hotel via this card. We keep this in our wallets as our primary card. If you also bank via Merrill Lynch you can add them together for higher reward value.

We also use the following cards for other perks:
1. Disney Chase ViSA for disney specific items - I am the PTO President and I keep our spending separate and use this card for those items.
2. AMEX Platinum Card Business - this is my husband's travel card, comes with a hefty fee but the rewards are amazing.
3. UNITED CLUB CARD - we use this for our airline purchases when necessary
4. Marriott Rewards Card - we travel and use this one exclusively for Marriott stays.

One good place to start is to read The Points Guy Blog. He will outline a lot and you can see what is specific towards your travel goals.
