I've searched for this topic and can't seem to find...

What are, in your opinion, the best counter service places in Epcot? I'm going in January, no ADRs for Epcot (for once!) and we're going to wing that part. I know, so unlike a DISer, but hey, it might be fun! ;)

Rest assured every other aspect of the trip is planned and color coded on my Excel sheet.

Opinions appreciated!

Tangerine in Morocco is our favorite.

Sunshine Seasons has a wide selection of food, but nothing that struck us as outstanding. The rotisserie chicken was very fatty and inedible.

We also enjoyed the chicken tacos in Mexico. We didn't have such a good experience with the Nachos though. I ordered them without beans. They assured me that the beans were on the side and gave me the prepped nachos. I found out that by 'side' they meant 'top side' - they were COVERED. I wasn't going to wait in line again to correct the error so I just threw them out.

Our trips are not complete for my DH if he doesn't get to have Fish N Chips in the UK! He loves them! For the kids and myself we love Sunshine Seasons in the land pavilion. There's a lot of variety and the food is really fresh and tasty everytime we have eaten there. I especially like the Asian section!

Tangerine Cafe in Morocco

We like Germany, England and China the best

I have always enjoyed the burgers, chicken tenders, etc at the Electric Umberella.:)

I would recommend Seasons at The Land...They have sooo many options from Asian, Burgers, Sandwiches, Sushi, Desserts, Chicken the list goes on and on. They have alot of little side options too. It's usually not as busy as places such as the Electric Umbrella and the food is much better!

Another vote for Sunshine Seasons at the Land. We always eat here while waiting for out FASTPASS times for Soarin'.

Geat selection and food is simple but good.

We also like the Morocco Counter Service.

Agree with the other posters!
Another thing we like to do at Epcot is try something from each WS country. So as we travel around we pick one or two things to share. By the time we make it all the way around, we've had plenty of food.

I do that with beer!

That's the advantage of being older. My children drink around the world with me since the youngest is 27.

On this trip, it's me and my BF, both adults, no kids (mine is 3), no husbands...we are SO drinking our way around the WS! :thumbsup2 My husband and I used to do that pre-kid, and I know it's wrong, but I am so excited to be going to WDW with another adult and no children. :yay:

One day my daughter will be able to drink around the World with me, but until then, I'll just have to practice without her!

Thanks for all the input - and if you'd like to tack on your favorite bars in the World, please do!

(And don't feel sorry for the 3 yr old - she went in September and is going in March - can you say spoiled? ;) And The Husband got to go in November without me, so we're all covered on many Disney trips in one year! )

I also vote for Sunshine Seasons. It can be hit or miss.. but when it's a hit - it's a homerun in my book! That's when I think it's a huge value for the money.

We love the Electric Umbrella for a quick meal and also the orange rice bowls at China. Sunshine Seasons is also great for something different but queues for the asian counter can be quite a wait.

To those people who like the fish and chips from the UK please come to the UK and eat REAL fish and chips! Epcot's efforts are awful, hubby refused to eat them and as a fish ahter the chips weren't the best either.

Yakitori House in Japan is a must do for DH and me. We love getting the Tonosoma Combo and the Kaki-Age Udon soup and splitting them. Yummy!
