Best counter service in each park?

MGM-This park has the worst CS food.

EPCOT - there's a "Refreshment Port" between World Showcase and Future World going towards Canada I believe. They have McDONALDS! Chicken Nuggets, Fries and McFlurries. My boys were thrilled.

Also in EPCOT - outside of the Rose & Crown Pub in England, there's "Window service" where you can get Fish 'n' chips, Hot dogs and beer. My husband was in heaven over that one.

MK - We like Columbia Harbour House, too - it's across from Haunted Mansion between Fantasy Land and Liberty Square. Chowder, Chicken Strips, nice area in the upstairs part of this restaurant.

MGM - the only place I'd suggest is the Backlot Express - over by Star Tours. It's not great, but the CS choices in MGM are sad.

AK- Flame tree bbq (they have a big plastic cup you can buy for about $7. You can get it refilled with anything throughout the park for $1. They don't advertise this....a very sweet CM told us about it

Has anyone else heard /tried this yet. This would save some good $$

Magic Kingdom - Cosmic Ray's. This is the only park where I just end up getting burger and fries and loving it. Plus they have the huge toppings bar and you can get cheese for your fries.

Epcot - Tangerine Cafe by far. It's going to be the best value for your credits, as it's the most expensive counter service place. The shwarma platters are great. I also really like Lotus Blossom over in China, they have great fried rice.

MGM - Studio Catering Company reopened just last year with a new menu. It's Mediterranian, with wraps and greek salads and things like that. The greek salad and the chicken ceasar wrap are really good. Everyone on here is complaining about MGM counter service, and if it weren't for this place, I probably would be, too. It's one of MGM's hidden treasures, it's way in the back by Lights Motor Action and the Honey playground.

Animal Kingdom - Anywhere but Restaurantasaurus (which is just a McDs). I'm not a fan of the type of bbq over at Flame Tree, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. The sandwiches at Pizzafari look great, but I've never had them. Tusker House is the only one I've eaten at and their rotisserie chicken is really good.

You can also use them at the counter service places at the hotels. I'm a cast member, but I recently got a bunch of counter service meal vouchers and was using them all over the place. Pop Century has really good meals (like the fried chicken tv dinners), as well as Port Orleans Riverside. The Contemporary has a great chicken tender sandwich.

MK- Cosmic Ray's (has something for everyone- burgers, hotdogs, rotisserie chx plus entertainment!)

Epcot- Tangerine Cafe in Morocco (LOVE the chix wrap platter) borders on being adventurous

AK- Flame Tree (must get the pulled pork sandwich platter!)

MGM- Used to love Rosie's Red Hot Dogs on Sunset now I would say to go Table Service here. Nothing stands out among the Counter Service eateries here.

AK -- Tusker House (hands down! -- great for breakfast, too!!!)

MGM -- Never done it here -- always go to Prime Time, Mama's or Sci-Fi

MK -- Usually end up at the Pinnochio place -- our boys like watching the boats take off at "Small World" -- love the salad here.

Epcot -- Usually do TS or snack "around the world" but if I had to choose, it would be the Fish & Chips at the UK. Wash it down with a Boddington's... can't get much better that that!!!

My favorite Counter Service meal in WDW is the salmon at Tusker House in AK. mmmmmmm
