We leave for WDW in about 4 weeks, and on one of the nights we are there we are going to do a "walking food tour" of the World Showcase.

I am wondering what is some CS food in the WS that people think is "can't miss". Lunch that day will be at the Rose and Crown, so after about 2 or 3 we will just be snacking around in the WS.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Tangierine Cafe, everything from this place is incredible
DH loves the shrimp fried rice from China
Brats and Kraut from Germany is a hit every time

1. Tangierine Cafe
2. Sommerfest - brat and kraut

Guess we need to try the shrimp fried rice next trip :goodvibes

Tangerine Cafe is AMAZING can't believe I walked by it so many times. I like the Cantina in Mexico, Nachos and a Margarita while sitting by the lake :cool1: . And in future world you can't go wrong with the Land food court, great selection

Tangierine Cafe. I had dinner there on Thurs and took some new WDW visitors and we were all impressed by it. They have yet to disappoint me.

Tangierine Cafe was amazing. DH and I ate there for the first time this past Sept. We split a chicken/lamb combo plate and everything on it was fantastic.

Ice cream in France is amazing, Yakatori House was one of my favorites, and the sausage sandwhich in Germany looked quite yummy. Also the fish and chips in the UK are very authentic.

Another vote for Tangerine Cafe here!

We also love the orange chicken, pot stickers and tsing tsao beer from the CS in China! I can't wait!!

These are 2 of my favorite meals around WS, TS and all!

Don't know if this helps, as you were asking specifically about World Showcase, but I asked this question a few days ago, about Epcot as a whole, and got several pages of responses. It's still on this forum if you do a quick scan. Lots of people were bigging up Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavilion. Happy eating.

My favorite dish there is the vegetarian platter-the hummus, cous cous, & the tabbouleh is the best ever!

We did this once. We were on the DP and we each (Me, DW, DS & DD) each picked a CS country and shared.

My DW started at Yorkshire County Fish Shop for fish & Chips (I also got a Bass).

Then DD stopped at Tangerine Cafe for Orange Chicken (I had a Tsing Tao).

Then DS wanted to stop at Sommerfest for brautwurst and sauerkraut, pretzels, and apple strudle (more beer)

Then we ended the meal with my choice at in Mexico at the Cantina for nachos, churros and.....more beer:thumbsup2

We really emjoyed it and are planning on doing it again.

I think a hidden gem in EPCOT is Norway. At the Kringla bakery you can order a lovely counter service meal. They have open faced sandwiches and they are HUGE (the salmon one is NOT to be missed), incredible soups and the most delectible desserts. We never miss it!

Thank you all so much for your responses! Now I have some fantastic ideas about where we must/I] go.

I have to say Tangierine Cafe hands down. Not only do I think this is the best cs in Epcot but I think it's the best cs in all of WDW. JMHO :thumbsup2
