One more for Flame Tree but if you will have small children with you, beware of the birds...I found them to be quite predatory in their race to get any table droppings. It completely freaked my daughter out!!
But the food (both in amount and taste) can't be beat.
The outdoor seating area is just beautiful and pretty relaxing. Unless you go at a busy time you can usually find a table pretty easily. If it seems to be busy, then I usually send DH to find us a table while I order and just let me know where he is at. The food is VERY good though!
Flame Tree BBQ has very good food, very large portions, and is a pretty good value for Disney dining. Plus, you can get a "Tables in Wonderland" discount there even though it is not a sit-down restaurant.
Seriously, the CS in AK is pretty thin, at best. We tried the walkup at Y&Y and were VERY disappointed [pouring goop over chicken nuggets does not Chines food make!]
If I end up at AK again, I may try the Flametree, but I was stunned at the thick crowds the day we were there [hmmmm.....maybe that was a hint it was the right choice? ]
Tusker House used to be the best CS at any park, but they took that away from us! We like Pizzafari. We split the yummy Hot Italian Deli sandwich with chips & then share an order of the delicious breadsticks with marina. That usually fills us up, but if not we go to Flame Tree and have a key lime pie for dessert while sitting by the water. Not a fan of the sandwiches there.
