Best character breakfasts?

Tusker house is great! We have gone every trip since it's opening. We also liked 1900 park fare very much.

I love Tusker House! They have a wide variety of food with great character interactions. The juice is super delicious, too.

We have been to Tusker, Ohana, CRT, and Cape May, I would say Tusker is the best, my DD really loved CRT, I thought the food was meh and the princesses were very rushed so not my favorite at all and the cost was so high.

I view it as spending $150 for what's basically Golden Corral level scrambled eggs. I pick based on which characters my kids want to see the most. H&V was my least favorite food of all time, but my kids were all "Disney Junior" age and loved the characters the most, so it was worth it.

I agree it is the Characters that make the dining experience !! I travel with ID Adults who thankfully are forever KIDS at heart . For them it is the Caharacter interaction that makes the evening not the food !! Although believe me thy can eat!!

Another vote for 1900 park fare. That has always been our go to breakfast. I love the character interaction.

I LOVE Tusker House. The food is great, something different with usual favorites mixed in, and it doesn't take away precious park time IMO. I also really love Crystal Palace.

We have found all to be good. Hollywood and Vine has a great buffet, one of our favorites. Remember ADRs are a fantastic way to get into the parks before they open. Just another perk! It just depends on what characters you want to dine with. Remember that there are not only different characters, but some different attire also. If you have little ones that will need help at the buffet you may want to opt of a family style breakfast. That way you don't have to worry about working in trips for food between character visits.

Trying the new character breakfast at Garden Grill in a few weeks, anyone tried it yet? I know the dinner is fun and good there!

I am anxious to hear all about that as it may well be on my list next year

Hi, yes, I will let you know. I hope it is fun, I love Chip n Dale! This is just a quick few day trip after Thanksgiving with family mainly for MVMCP. Also doing Holiday d-lights tour.

Timing breakfast ressie at Garden Grill with fastpass to Soarin!

We don't get to do WDW as much now that we retired to Panama. Once or twice a year now! So we like to try new things - different tours, restuarants, resorts and other activities! To make each trip extra special!!!

Hello,

Just got back from DW! The Garden Grill breakfast was okay, but the food could have been hotter. Also, if you like biscuits, tell them to bring enough for everyone in the starter batch of food. They only brought two for a party of four. When we asked for more eggs and bacon they brought way more than the first time and this time it was hot!

Chip, Dale, Pluto and Farmer Mickey were great! They made it around three times while we were eating. They were a lot of fun!

Overall it was good and if you like a family meal instead of buffet it is a great character meal!

Hello,

Just got back from DW! Also did a late breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, the buffet was great. Don't miss the strawberry soup if you dine there. The characters are great especially the Mad Hatter!

Thanks for the review !! We have done Garden Grill for supper a couple of times and enjoyed it but it is a little cramped for our party of 10 !!! Will have to be getting my restaurant picks in soon so I can be ready for the 180 day mark in April .

Just booked Tusker House for breakfast on my AK day, anxious to give it a try.

We went to Crystal Palace this morning for the first time and it was fantastic. Food was very good and characters were awesome. We will definitely do it on the next trip.

Our favorites:
1.Crystal Palace ~pooh's puffed french toast, sugar coated deliciousness found @ the kid's station! :)
2.Cape May Cafe
3. Chef Mickey's [sadly we only could get a dinner ADR but it's good @ dinner too!
If you want an amazing breakfast even if all the character meals are booked BOMA @ AKL is cheaper & excellent! The food is just as delicious as the character breakfasts!!!! Plus the kids will enjoy a visit to AKL b/c you can view the animals, they not far from the restaurant. ;)

We love Tusker House. That was the first ever character meal experience for my kids, and it was fantastic. I thought the food was average, but the characters made up for it!

Just tried Tusker this morning and the food was great. We were able to sample lunch with a 10:30 ADR. I will say the place is a madhouse and characters were a bit rushed. I think Crystal Palace is our favorite between the two.
