Best Burgers on DCL?

...We are also in search for a decent burgers...hubby loves to have a burger with his beer in midday when he's on vacation...but we will be on the Dream.
We didnt like the burgers at Cookies...any where else on the Disney Dream???

Thank you! :hippie:

The one I had in Royal Court on the Fantasy at lunchtime was pretty darned good.

This thread is a perfect example of how everyone has differing tastes.
For me, I LOVE the burgers at Pluto's on deck. First, I don't have to pay for it, so everything that is included always tastes better ;)
Second, I just like them. And they will grill it for you if you ask when they take it out of the warmer. I usually eat at least one a day on the ship.

At WDW, the best burger (and I have tried most of them) is the double cheesburger at Beaches & Cream. We will leave EPCOT and walk over there to get one. At MK, the burgers at Cosmic Rays are pretty good.

I ordered a burger in the MDR at lunch on my cruise last April. (Royal Palace) I like my meat rare. They sent the chef out to tell me that they couldn't cook them that way not only due to regulations - BUT that the burgers were not 100% beef. I was told they contained many different thing such as pork, chicken, etc.

Good info! :thanks:

If you can't find a good burger on the ship. . . when you get home go to Cheesecake Factory and order the Kobe Burger!!! :stir:

This would explain why I can not stand the burgers.:scared1::scared1:

Off-topic, but just a word of warning that real Kobe beef is not actually available in the United States. In fact, it's illegal to import it. What you're actually getting is beef originally of Japanese stock, which may or may not have been raised in the Kobe fashion, and which was not raised in Japan.

Designations like "Kobe beef", "Angus beef" and the like are not regulated in the US.

I would not classify any burgers on DCL as good and that is part of the reason. I like mine medium rare and I prefer either turkey or 100% beef.

Last burger I had on a ship was not really a ship burger. It was Johnny Rockets on RCCL. That thing was authentic and very good.

Im not sure what is wrong with me, but I love dry burgers. You know, the kind you used to get in the school cafeterias? So, I like the deck burgers. And I lather it with mayo, ketchup and mustard and lots of lettuce. My DH thinks I'm gross.:lmao:
But when I do order a real burger, I totally order it medium rare. Go figure.

:rotfl2::thumbsup2:rotfl2: No kidding Houston Gal.....I'm over here in Austin and ain't no way us Texans would put up with anything but 100% pure beef...and it best be damn good too!!!!!!!

One of the best burgers that I ever had was at beaches and cream:thumbsup2

You know, I see that several people have given Beaches and Cream a thumbs up. I've never eaten there. Sounds like we need to try it out on our next visit. Thanks guys! :yay:
