Best breakfast in WDW??

I'll vouch for the Grand Floridian Cafe. The setting is lovelier in the morning than at any other time of day; the sunshine streams through the windows. More importantly, the eggs Benedict is the best on property.

Favorite w/ characters - Crystal Palace (yummy puffed french toast!)
Favorite w/out characters - Kona Cafe (yummy Tonga Toast!)

We just got back from WDW yesterday and my personal favorite breakfast was at Whispering Canyon Cafe. They had a great menu or you could also get all you can eat served family style for 14.99 per adult. Not sure what the kids price was. It was an AWESOME breakfast though and tons of fun. The kids had a blast. It isn't a character breakfast but the staff is kind of similar to that at 50s diner. Tons of fun!

I've been there at dinner, but I never thought to check on breakfast there. Do they do the same antics at breakfast as they do at dinner? (err...I guess I should first ask if you've been there for dinner before?)

No we have never been there for Dinner, but it's probably the same antics as they did for breakfast. All I can say is DO NOT order a soda for breakfast unless you're prepared for them to announce it to the whole place! It was hilarious! A good laugh is a great way to start the day at Disney.

dont see anyone suggesting ohana?? we were gonna do the stitch one? is that not good?:confused3

I think the best is Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona Cafe, but I'm probably the opposite...I much prefer my breakfast (or any meal really) to be served rather than a buffet :)

You have to try the cornflake crusted french toast covered with fresh strawberries, bananas & blueberries & the applewood bacon. I have been to disney 12+ times in the past 4 years and make it a tradition to go at least once for breakfast. Holy moses.....its to die for.

That's exactely what I'm going for is the cornflake crusted french toast.

welcome to Disboards!! I see you joined in May but thanks for making your first post here to suggest a delicious breakfast item for me.

that sounds really good. (Did I mention I'm hungry right now? popcorn::)

1. Boardwalk Bakery (CS-their croissant, egg and bacon croissants are AMAZING! followed by a chocolate eclair of course ;) It's very relaxing and quiet sitting out at the tables on the Boardwalk in the morning).
2. Main St. Bakery (to die for Cinnamon Rolls and French Toast Loaf, we take them over to the little tables and chairs over in front of the Plaza and watch the ducks. It is soooooo peaceful!)
3. Crystal Palace (I would probably vote this one higher if it was character free. I do love the windows/lighting and the food's pretty good!).

I love Ohana's breakfast with Stitch. It's a cute character meal, the atmosphere is great and it's all-you-can-eat without having to wait in a buffet line!! Plus the bread and the juice are so good!! Another thing that makes it so appealing is taking a peaceful boat ride over to the Poly first thing in the morning!

Swan or Dolphin! They have buffets at i believe both resorts. Haven't been there in a couple years but in past trips we have gone almost every year for the buffet. It's funny because it seems like no one can ever remember which one is better or which one we went to the previous year
I think it may be the Garden Grove now?

also Ohana at the polynesian is a must for me (obv reasons cough i<3stitch cough) but besides getting breakfast w/ my fav character  the food is great...however not a buffet

My vote is for the Crystal palace! It is a first morning tradition for my family. We love the pooh waffles, puffed french toast, and veggie fritatta.:lovestruc Even the characters are super great here.

Grand Floridian Cafe - vanilla maple french toast - yum! GFC replaces Boatwright's french toast :sad1: - which in turn replaced Bonfamille - Why does Disney keep closing down the best breakfast places? Best CS is Wolfgang Puck Express - corn flake crusty french toast.

From the looks of it, I'm going to have to plan a 20 day trip so we can try all the different delicious breakfasts at WDW! I appreciate all these great comments!
