Hi all, if spending day at Epcot (we are staying at AKL), what would you say is the best place for a breakfast buffet? If you don't think a buffet would work...what is the best place to grab breakfast? Also...what are your favorite breakfast buffets? Thanks!

Even though you are going to Epcot, the breakfast buffet at the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom is amazing. You could easily eat there, and then catch a monorail ride over to Epcot for the day.

I second the idea that the breakfast buffet at Crystal Palace is great.

Boma does have a very good buffet. Our favorite is 1900 Park Fare at GF. We've always had good food there and my DH enjoys getting an omelet made to order. The buffet is fruit, eggs, cheese blintzes, waffles, bacon, sausage, gravy, pastries and strawberry soup.
At Epcot, we have grabbed a breakfast pastry at the Fountainview Bakery. This pastry has egg, cheese and sausage or bacon in it. If you get there early, this is a great place to grab a quick breakfast. We've also had a breakfast plate at the electric umbrella. Nothing special, but you do get little tater tots, scrambled eggs, bacon and a biscuit. Nothing to write home about, but it does fill your stomach and is a quick meal.

If going to EPCOT for the day and you want a buffet breakfast there is one at Cape May at the Beach Club. You could go to breakfast early or go to the park then break for a late breakfast and go back to the park. The Beach Club is about a 10 min walk from the International Gateway at EPCOT.

We have not eaten in many breakfast buffets yet (and I emphasize the word "yet"..lol), but I loved Crystal Palace breakfast buffet...The food was very good and character interaction made my little ones very happy!

I'm not sure which is the best, but I can tell you that we would not go back to breakfast at the Yacht Club Galley. You can order off the menu or have a buffet. We ate there last week and came away pretty disappointed. Both quantity and quality of the food was lacking.

Since you are staying at AKL, I vote for Boma too. Very good, and in addition to the buffet you can order a pot of pressed coffee.

The breakfast buffet at the Restrauntasaurus in AK with Donald Duck is our kids favorite. It has everything you could want for Breakfast and Donald is my teenagers favorite character so it is perfect for us. :cheer2: :cheer2:

We loved Donald's!!! We had an 8:15? ADR and my daughter was the first in the park that morning. The food was excellent, the wait staff was entertaining, and the character interaction was top notch. I would highly recommend it.

Donald's breakfast at AK is the absolute best! :thumbsup2 Plus, if you make an early reservation, you get into the park before everyone else and as soon as you're done eating you can rush over and get a fast pass to a ride and then jump right on another. Last time we went, we were one of the first in line for Dinosaur. Also, the waiter did some Disney trivia with us while we were waiting on the characters to make it our way. It was a lot of fun.

(I also love Ohana but that's not really a buffet.)

Thanks for the Doonald reviews . I planned on making an early ressie the riding the safari after getting a FP for dinasaur. Sounds like that will work well. Another AK ? How long does it take to walk from Donalds to Safari???

Another vote for Boma buffet...makes the most sense if you're staying in AKL anyway, and it's the best buffet I've had to date at WDW for breakfast.
