You're right. It's called La Fin du Monde. Have a few of those, and you might think it's the end of the world. (9% alcohol)
I would pretty much agree that this is the single best beer in Epcot, imho. The only hesitation that I would have is Guinness (I always sort of take guinness for granted, then every time I have one I think, dang, Guinness really is good). This is why I said you have to go in to la cellier for the unibroue - to the best of my knowledge that is the only place it is available in the pavillion. They did have La Fin Du Monde the last time we were at brown derby in MGM as well. But, yeah, it is probably the single best beer in Epcot, and Rose and Crown would be the best place to get beer in Epcot. Anytime I have ever been to La Celliar it seemed too crowded and busy, and a long wait even with a PS - not an easy place to just grab a beer. But then La Fin Du Monde isn't a beer you just grab, either, it is really, really, really good.
Some time somebody is going to have to explain Ringnes to me. So many people really seem to love it. I think there must be something about it that I don't appreciate. I think it is OK, I like it just fine, its very drinkable, but it isn't my favorite beer in Epcot or even my favorite Norwegian beer.
So, suzieqinga, your husband really does have his work cut out for him - La Fin Du Monde in Canada, six beers to go through in the UK, Kirin Ichiban at Matsu-Noma, Ringnes in Norway (and I'm sure that only a Viking size will do), and dos equis in Mexico. Then come back here and tell us what he thinks.
Uncelremus - Sam Adams is pretty good, but I agree with MPLsDad that it is easy to skip because it so ubiquitous outside wdw. But then so is Guinness and Dos Equis, really. I also agree that there are some UK/Irish beers that I would like to see added to Rose and Crown.
