Hey DD and all who have been crossing stuff for me!!!!

I applied for 3 jobs on Friday online.

Well, one called me back today about 5pm, but my cell was on vibrate, so I never heard it.

She said they are very interersted in meeting with me and asked me to call them back to set up an interview for next week.

Then, about a nhr later, another one called and left a voice mail

I called back and she conducted a phone interview with me.

Took about 10 mins..hate those things...:rotfl:

Then, she said she would talk to HR tomorrow...about hrs...I told her the earliest I could do would be 8:30, prefer 9am if possible.

I have to get my son up in the morning, dressed, off at the babysitters, where sometimes he gers upset when time to leave and then to the place...so 8 am would be too hard.

She going to see how flexible they are with hours and give me a call back tomorrow morning and le tme know either way.

So, please keep crossing everything everyone as it is working so far

:grouphug:

Crossing my fingers! (I'm still on page 124 so I don't know if there was an update on this or not...)

YAY Sharky!!

I applied for a job at Walmart today in a supervisor position.. but also for an hourly position.. you know.. like either one.. and i passed the supervisor assessment test.. so hopefully they call me and offer good money!

cool! good luck!

I agree 100%, except I wasn't on vacation, I was just at work and yes, I know, I know, read thread, reply to thread, then work, but sometimes, you have to do it in reverse order!

My mom says goodnight and then postes like 10 more times..:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

not sure if you've posted them yet or not seeing as though im only on page 120  but I look forward to seeing them!!

That's good that you know the differance between an elvis fan and an over the top elvis fan :rotfl: They do get pretty crazy over there with all the Elvis stuff. He was great and all but, really. People go a little too far sometimes. But it is funny to see

NOpe, didn't post them yet.Just finished downloading them on my PC. My laptop photo program is acting up so I had to download on PC, then edit to make them smaller, then upload them to Photobucket now tonight when I sit to relax I can start posting them!!! Thanks for wanting to see them. Patience my dear as they are on their way, LOL.:rotfl2:

Nope, Nope, the Dis is more important! j/k :)

That one I don't recognize, what is it???

Hey Dude and Are you afraid of the dark were both on Nickolodeon back in the late '80's and early 90's. These shows started popping up around the time that "You Can't Do That On Television" went off the air.

Don't you hate it when your computer gives you problems with pictures!? Mine did that last week and, ugh! :headache: By the time I got them all loaded it was so late so I just ended up going to bed. Doesn't the computer know that we out here in DIS world are waiting to see more pictures!? :rotfl: **stomps foot on ground**

I'm patient...I promise :rolleyes1

Well Thursday we left our home in Louisiana and headed northeast towards Tunica, MS and eventually Memphis, TN. Tunica is where all the casinos are and yes we like to gamble, lol. We had a good ride, the weather, though hot was nice to travel in as we were in the air conditioned truck. That does help a whole lot! ;)

Anyway it took us about 6 hours after having stopped at McD's for a late lunch to hold us over. Talk about slow. I think those people working there had two speeds, Slow and Stop and they were really close to Stop when we were there. I never waited so long for "Fast Food" it gives a whole new meaning to those words for sure. We finally got our food and got back on the road.

We finally got to our hotel. It was the Grand Casino Hotels and Casino and we stayed in the Veranda Building. It was gorgeous. It had a big pool, a gorgeous lobby with pool tables and a big bar and three TVs in it as well. We were on the 6th floor, the top floor but no it wasn't the Penthouse.

We checked in and took our bags to our room. YOu might think we were moving there permanently with all the bags we had and then all the extras slung over our shoulders and arms; laptop, camera bag, bag of shoes, my pillow (have to have my own pillow) and so much more crap, lol.

We got to our room and it was small but gorgeous!

This is the view from our room looking straight down:

wow! What a pretty hotel :) I've never gambled before. I think I'd lose too much

I know what you mean on the fast food too. When I still lived in florida (and was very young) my mom, my sister and I went to McD's through the drive through and it was taking FOREVER!! The guys in the convertible behind us (teenagers) were hollering "what's taking so long!?" They were being rude. So my Mom yelled out the window at them "They went to kill the cow!!!" :lmao: :lmao: It was hillarious!! Anyways, just thought I'd share that with ya since I think it's funny.

ok...on with the show...

Well seems photobucket has snatched over half of my pictures. I can't find the rest! :scared1: :scared1: Now I have to do this all over again, GRRRRRR I'm so mad. But at least you got to see a few pics so you know I really did go somewhere, I wasn't just hiding and avoiding y'all!!!!

More to come later. Bye for now, back to the drawing board. Or should I say Photobucket!:sad2:

that's a really pretty view!! Makes me want to go swimming.

I'll probably be the same way with all the bags and such when we go to Disney. I'll have to get DH to take a picture of me loaded up with everything when we go :rotfl:

Oh yes, and I totally hear ya on the having to have your own pillow thing. I don't go anywhere w/o my own when I'm staying the night. It's one thing to be in a different bed...but the pillow? That's just crazy!
