I'm not a big dessert person so wondering what's the best appetizer you've had (and from which restaurant)!

Thanks but we're not doing a dining plan so not looking to swap desserts for appetizers. If someone typically doesn't eat dessert, the sensible thing would be to not order dessert. It would probably be really, really frustrating to expect to be able to swap a dessert for an appetizer on the standard dining plan, except if the restaurant offers (and the diner wants) a cheese plate.
Ohhhh! Will have to try this when we're there in November. Thanks! My favourite thing to eat at Disney World is the goat cheese ravioli appetizer from California Grill. It is the one item I look forward to the most when we go.
Second vote for the grilled romaine, crispy oysters, and burrata salad at Flying Fish. I love doing walking up (no ADR stress) to sit at the bar and having some combination of the two of them for dinner. Plus a cocktail, of course.
Still haven't had the goat cheese ravioli but it's certainly on my WDW bucket listI second the ravioli at Cali Grill. It's amazing.
.Didn't know that we can order from Flying Fish via room service! Thanks for the tip!Yes to walk up at the bar or if you are staying at BWI ordering from the restaurant via room service. Nothing like eating good food in your pjs, LOL.

The lobster cocktail, fried calamari ( sauce on the side please) or raw bar offerings at Boathouse can be a meal in it self.
I also have to try the lobster and avocado app at Paddlefish. Saw it being made and regretted not ordering it.
Thanks, and sorry. I didn't finish my thought. Thanks for catching and clarifying! Thanks but we're not doing a dining plan so not looking to swap desserts for appetizers.
We didn't order the jerk wings at Sebastian's but it's on the list for next time:yup:. Instead we tried the rolls, a salad, and black bean soup. I'm not a big carb eater yet found the bread quite good and it's accompaniments smoking. The black bean soup was right up there with something my Aunt Ettie would make (there's an entire generation of West Indians saddled with first names that start with the letter "E". Eluthea, Elvie, Edwin, and of course my all time favorite, Egbert. Fortunately, my parents didn't walk that pathThe jerk chicken wings at Sebastian's Bistro are excellent.
Beyond that, a second vote for the boar at Jiko.
. Digression over) minus the chorizo. I wish the salad had hearts of palm in it but it still tasted good.
The arepas at Skipper Canteen. My mouth waters just thinking about them.
