Best appetizers?

Can you tell me a little more about them, please? Are they spicy? I hope not. I admit that I didn't know what arepas were when you posted so I looked them up. They sound like something I'd like to try and I'm planning on a trip to Skipper Canteen next time I go to WDW. That and the Jungle Salad.

Not who you quoted but have never had a spicy arepa which doesn't mean they don't exist. Very common at street fairs in NYC filled with cheese on a base of corn flour. Yummilicious.

They weren't spicy to me, but had great flavor. I can do somewhere between mild and medium spicy, and these seemed to be just the right amount to enhance the flavor and not be the flavor.

I called them the wrong thing, though. This is the description:

Orinoco Ida's Cachapas
And you thought our jokes were corny! House-made Corn Pancakes, Beer-braised Pork, Roasted Corn, Fresno Pepper Salsa, and Avocado Cream

The salsa is on the side, so if it is too spicy, you can not use it or just use a little bit.

Lobster corn dogs at Paddlefish. Even our then 3 year old daughter loved them last year and still talks about them.

Ahi tuna nachos at Yak n Yeti. Scallop Forest at Raglan Road. Oxtail soup at Monsieur Paul. And I completely agree with Jiko’s wild boar.

Will agree with the above that the chachapas at Skippers were amazing...
