Best airfares from Cincinnati?

the drive from cincy to indy is about 90+ minutes. columbus is a nice drive too at about 90+ minutes. both have southwest flights which generally helps.

this year we are flying out of cvg to mco and then doing a daytona beach to cvg flight for $198pp. delta was toying with one way fares back in jan-feb.

but getting a good deal is really just luck when you fly out of cincy. you can't beat the convenience though.

it's always funny that people will pay a commodity on a hotel room that should be about 50-60 dollars less than it is at disney and then have a hard time with airline fares above $200.00. and the last time i checked gas was $2.25 ouch!

but back to your question.... indy and columbus are both about the same distance depending whether you have easier access to i71 or i74.

We're going from Cincinnati as well, and were (EXTREMELY) surprised to find that booking through Disney gave us the best rates! Is your sister's family getting a package already? At first, we didn't even attempt to add air transportation as we figured we'd find cheaper rates elsewhere. After finding, as you have figured out, that $220 is about the best you can do (even with expedia, hotwire, etc bookings) we just decided to "give it a go" on disneyworld. com and see how much it would be to add transportation. To our surprise, we added 4 R/T tickets, nonstop from Dayton to MCO and our package price changed ~$179/person. I believe the CVG rates were only slightly more than that as well.

If they are already doing a MYW package, please have them try adding air transportation.... it just might work! :wizard:
