Best 4th of July Fireworks

After 30+ trips to WDW, I never been during 4th of July week. I usually go around Xmas, but this year with my DD (who has never been) and my 2 teenage GD's ( who I have taken numerous times), we will be there during that time. So where is the best fireworks? I have seen Wishes, Illuminations but never Socery in the Sky, should I plan on MGM? Maybe try to get a Fireworks Cruise? Any info or tips will be appreciated.

We went this past 4th. IMHO, there was nothing, NOTHING better than Epcots Illuminations for the fourth. *and* we got to see the MGM ones through the trees before Illuminations started.. lol. I get completely teary eyed just thinking about our Fourth of July experience, and how happy I was with our choice of Epcot for that day. It made the extreme heat worth it.. lol

I agree about the Epcot fireworks on the 4th. The extra fireworks were awesome!!! They had a lot of low fireworks that pounded so hard it took your breath away. I am not usually a fireworks lover but Disney knows how to do fireworks.

They also projected images on Spaceship Earth that were very moving.

*nods*.. yes, the images... I have it all on camera. We videotaped the fireworks, and us walking to the gate afterward. All the songs, all the images.. I can't take much more of this, I start to cry everytime I think about it.. LOL. WHY does it have to be so long before I can go back.. *sob*.. lol
