I started out on an earlier post about a required tip for the driver for our mattress set--lots of great replies
so today both my DH and I had an eye app when we got home I was going over the paperwork to send in to insurance
and I noticed on mine there was a $25 protection plan--so basically insurance for my new glasses--just added in and we were not told about it
so I called and she explained that yes it was insurance on the glasses she apolized for not telling us before--I told her Ive worn glasses for 55 years and never had issues with glasses breaking--she said they would take it off the bill--
Im so tired of all these insurance plans on so many things you buy--a person could go insurance broke
and then if you actually need it thats a whole another story--but the amount is already refunded
we had this happen a long time ago with car insurance--I called to get the amount and when I got to the office to pay it it was about $10 more then I was quoted just a few hrs before
I asked about it and the guy said so many of our cutomers want it we just add it on
well I told him you can just take it off
funny end of story many years later I started a new job and one of the people I worked with was his wife!!!! small world
she eventually divoreced him since he was cheating on her!!!! crook at work and home
