Glad to hear E is a bit better with her back....I can certainly relate to working in pain.

Also to hear Diane has some helpful information about her diagnosis and treatment plans.

Hope the pictures come out great Kim. I've heard there are photographers who can even edit hairstyles now in the digital world. The kids can still have their chosen hairstyle for the yearbook and the parents can have pictures that they prefer to display at home.

It's been very busy at work and the internet is slow too so I miss popping in during the day. We're headed out to dinner as soon as Lew gets home and changes clothes. I decided on a local restaurant that has great food and great drinks! Twin Oaks It's a very popluar place in RI with a lengthy history. Hope everyone has a nice evening!

Just had to stop by to tell you all that my mail just arrived. I got a package from Sandi. She was the best Riddlecon buddy ever! She sent me a Riddlecon t-shirt and button. My DD Amy is soooo jealous! I tried it on and it fits just the way I like them, not clingy like some t-shirts on me. In fact, I'm wearing it right now. Guess this means I'll always have smarty pants to wear.

She also sent a Cedar Point pin and a bunch of Cedar Point postcards for my scrapbook. (I told her I needed to scrap the event!) And to top it all off, she sent me a Mary Poppins "Spoonful of Sugar" pin and a glitzy umbrella necklace. I can't wait to show them all off. My family thinks I'm nuts because I'm thinking of putting a Mary Poppins ring tone on my phone. I told them I'd always know it was MY phone ringing that way.

I've had such fun reading what everyone wrote to me. Thanks to everyone who signed my book. I love everything! Thanks so much Sandi for being my buddy. Hope we can meet sometime in person. Maybe next year? I'll keep my fingers crossed.

DS hasn't made it home from band practice. His car was fixed, so he was running to the mall with some friends before he comes home. It's been a beautiful day, so practice should have been a success. It's threatening rain this afternoon. Now my car is in the shop, so I'm having to beg, borrow and share until the middle of next week.

LK, I'm so sorry to hear your news. Wish there was something I could do. I'll keep him and his family in my prayers.

E and Diane, I'm glad you both are doing a little better.

Carol, your Susie disappearing story made me panic. I wanted to run over to help you. I hate it when something like that happens. Good luck with the doggie bath and the party. Be sure you take pictures, of the party I mean. Those will be wonderful memories for your daughter.

Gotta run. I'm trying to finish a few jobs around the house before my DH gets home. I'll check back later.

Sandi - I had a mixed bag of weather at the shore ....Saturday it poured rain on and off but Sunday was a nice surprising sunny day ..... my last day there it was foggy at the beach, but sun and clouds at our rental by the bay ..... the east cost weather is supposed to be brightening up in the next week so I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get lots of sunshine skies !

Lk, so sorry to hear about your co-worker/friend. Saying a prayer for him.

I'm on DH's work computer right now. My computer at home has gone wacko and DS took it to work with him for repairs. Don't know how long it'll take. So, if I'm not around at all the rest of the week, you'll know why!

I'm heading up to Conneaut Lake this weekend to see my out of town nephews! And, the weather looks great!!

LK - I can't believe how fast Shawn has gone downhill. At least he got to enjoy the Bruce concert last week. I wish him peace.

Got burnt at Sandcastle yesterday. Tried to have my DS help me w/ the lotion on my back, but I guess you can't count on a 6 yr old. They had a ride called the Lazy River in which you float along a little river in a raft. I could have done that all day.

How is your packing going, Lorraine? I finally got the suitcases out yesterday. I plan to start doing the laundry today so I will have plenty of underwear to both pack and have enough in the drawer for next week.

We tend to pack light and wash while we are there. That in- room laundry has us spoiled.

Diane - haven't even started yet. I had such a busy week. At least all I have scheduled for tomorrow is a hair appt., so I will be busy getting everything ready the rest of the day.
